He looked at Journeypaw and said. "We should be heading back soon." He added to Clover, "Would you like to come back to camp with us? There would be a lot of other cats though." He meowed in a gentle voice. He didn't want to scare the kit out of this. She would probably die soon with out food. He wondered if this kit could eat fresh kill or if she still needed milk. Either way, this kit would be dead before moon high. He looked at Journeypaw and used his eyes to sort of show what he was thinking.

LillyPaw shrugged and padded over to the kill-pile and grabbed a mouse. Looking around, he settled his eyes on a small boulder covered in moss near the elder's den. ' Ahah, my little pride rock, eh? ' He thought with a smile. He made his way over to the boulder with a small skip to his steps.

Echospirit woke up in the warriors den to a bright red beam of sun in her eyes. After she had talked to Firebird she went to rest. Echospirit hopped out of her den and padded out to the forest. she stopped when she came to the river. She crouched in a fishing position as she saw the greenish glint of a trout's scales. She whipped her paw in to the water and pulled out the fish with a splash. She put it on the ground and snapped its back so it wouldn't hit her any more with it's flapping. She then trotted back to camp carrying her catch back to camp.

Aspenstar scrambled onto the great rock. "To the gathering!" He dashed out of the camp, followed by his selected group.

Feathertail excitedly followed Aspenstar out of the clearing. He dodged Kestrelpaw as the apprentice slowed slightly, and then rounded the corner with a flick of his tail. His fur brushed against Firebird's, and he purred softly, glancing at the grey she-cat.

Kesteralpaw raced after the leader and the others. The small she-cat wasn't qute sure where to go so she let a few warriors pass her.


Oakstorm kept an easy pace with Aspenstar. He let himself bound along at a steady rhythm, and his eyes scanned for anything dangerous. Like the Masked Clan cats. A shiver ran over him as he heard what had happened to Aspenstar.


Aspenleaf was at the front with her brother, Oakstorm, and Aspenstar. Her ginger pelt was almost a red in the midnighh light. Her toned muscels rippled under her pelt.

Hawkclaw scrambled after her apprentice. She knew she was excited, but she also was heading for the front with Aspenstar! She couldn't believe that Kestrelpaw could run that fast after a long loop around the territory. Soon, she caught up, and brushed gently past her. Hawkclaw flicked her tail, to call the apprentice to her side.
"You seem excited." Hawkclaw purred with amusement.

Echospirit dropped her fish in the freshkill pile and walked, slowly, over to a large rock by the by the back wall of the camp. she jumped up on to the top of the rock and lay down. She put her head on her paws and watched the others go. She didn't mind not going to the gathering. Just, she didn't know, she wasn't happy. She realized her and her sister always shared fish. Catching the fish sparked some unknown memory. Echospirit sighed sadly and covered her eyes with her paws
