Chief looked down. "But I am...was hers." He looked up at Ryder with sadness in his eyes. "I don't care that she left me- I realized I belonged with someone else anyways- but why would she just leave those innocent pups behind?" He didn't wait for her response. Chief walked off and down the side of the lake.

Ryder watched as the male sulked off towards the other end. She noticed how he reacted when she spoke about Ember in a way he didn't like. "Because she wasn't ready to be a mother chief. I told you guys that when you brought it up. She wasn't ready and never will be because she doesn't want to end up like her momma. A grand mother at such a young age. I treat those pups like my own more than she does and that's a shame. Lets not get all sad and have fun while we can.," she said as she ran away from her spit to launch herself at him. She tugged on his ear like the little pup that was on the inside
Shortly afterwards she let go of his ear and ran away from him wagging her tail.

Chief smiled as he was tackled by Ryder. He loved it when she was so playful. Chief got to his feet and chased after Ryder. He loved Ryder's playfulness. He loved Ryder's advice. He loved Ryder's personality. He loved Ryder's company. He loved Ryder period. Chief wondered if he could ever tell Ryder how he felt and if she felt the same. He ran and ran and ran following Ryder. He still couldn't run fast enough to catch her. He took a giant leap and got lucky. Chief tackled Ryder to the ground and found himself nose to nose with her. He looked deep into her eyes trying to read the emotions behind them.

Ryder allowed him to catch up to her and tackle her. She giggled at him with her eyes shut before she felt his nose touch down on her's. The vixen opened her eyes, so that they were staring into each others eyes now. She softly smiled at him before pushing him off of her and rolling over.to lay o her belly.

Chief licked Ryder's ear. "I love you Ryder." He told her without thinking. "I always have, just never knew it before. How could I have been so stupid?" He laid next to her, pelts touching, and nuzzled her lovingly.

{Bump! And happy birthday Wolfeh! I think today is your birthday but I'm not 100% sure so I apologize if I'm inaccurate. And I'm really sorry about all my inactivity. Please don't hate me for always being busy, I've been going through a lot and it's just so hard but things have kind of been getting better so I really hope I can actually be active this time. I'm really genuinely sorry and I feel like I deserve to be punished for promising that I would be more active before and then not doing so but things happen without notice. If you want to punish me I guess I can't argue with it but if you don't then I will try to continue with the RP. Again, I'm really really sorry.}
