Hi! I'm sorry you're having problems with your snake, there can be so many reasons for why they won't eat :l But I'd like to add in how you can notice if the snake is healthy or not:
The snake seems to be strong in their body when you hold them, if you'd hold them in the tip if their tail and the rest of the body hangs down, it shouldn't feel like a piece of rope, it should more likely be moving around.
Playing with their tongue
Not breathing with their mouth open or having any kind of sludge (not sure about the English name) around mouth or nose, this is caused by too cold temperature in the tank.
If he sheds in one piece it proves that the humid level is fine and he's most likely healthy.
No small dots around his eyes (parasites)
Snakes can get pneumonia and mouth rot (?)(caused by too low temp.) but it might be too late before you notice it, so it's always good to check your snake daily, you don't have to handle it, just see it in its tank.


I'm not an expert on snakes but this is what I've got to learn from my school so far. I'd be really glad if anyone could come up with more examples :)

If your snake is not eating I do not recommend handling him at all(it'll just be a source of stress). Personally I'd try and avoid handling him at all(unless necessary) until you've gotten him to reliably take 2-3 meals.

Speaking of snakes eating, I need to try and feed Rin again. She's settled down a ton since I got her, not nearly as bitey and pissy as before.

I've had good experiences with snakes in the past, I have had several for pets, but I do remember being bitten by one before

eeeeheeeh^^ I love her so much! The first thing she did was take a bath when I put her back in her box (currently fixing the ventilation for her bigger tank) and she's actually so friendly if you pick her up with ease, she bit me three times the first time^^'
