A lot of little kids make the mistake of only really raising/grinding their starter, so they end up getting walled later in game. That's probably the reason why they introduced that. The nice side effect of course is being able to fill up 3-4 more pokedex entries every time you eat at a restaurant post game... Just need to evolve Haxorous and I'll have finished the central dex.

I've been playing pokemon for a while now and I always manage to get stuck in this pitfall. :3
The exp share in X/Y was a massive help for me, though I wish I could have gone without it. But meh. I've never been the best at games. c:

Right now my starter is at lvl. 80, while the others are mid-high 70s.

That happened with me and my Empoleon when I first played Diamond. Also, on my latest file of said game, my Empoleon is the highest-leveled member of my team, but not by much, and she's* mainly high-leveled due to reasons involving Stealth Rock and Aaron.

*The overleveled Empoleon I mentioned on my first time playing Diamond was male. The Empoleon on my latest file, nicknamed Aves, is female. Yes, I did soft reset. I regret nothing.

Before i restarted my game,my Sylveon was level 70 and my Delphox was was way down in the 60s

My cousin did that a lot, too ^_^ he still does, I think. He's be like "My blastoise is level 100! But the rest are in their 50s" xD Made it tough to play with him back before gamefreak added level adjusting rules (setting everything to lvl 50 for wifi battling and the like is seriously the best thing ever).

Okay so I found my white 2 game and I did a little digging.
Turns out I have a random lvl 4 Shiny Purrloin.
I'm going to hold a give away for it here, but I'm unsure on how to do that.
If anyone has any ideas could you PM me? ^^
I want to do something fun and free for the thread, and I'll probably come up with some extra prizes, like dream world ability pokemon. c:
