Hello there, my name is wayward sons. but please feel free to give me any nickname you want - so long as it is not vulgar. My drawing skills are poor, and my creative muse is harshly low, yet I want a fursona that I will keep for a long time. Because of this predicament, I am hosting a fursona contest - the person to create my favourite character wins the 'grand prize'. Below you can find a list of things that I like, and things sure to help you boost your chances of winning. You may click the following embedded link to see what pets are up for who ever wins. xxx [* This may update] Along with the before stated group of pets, you may choose five of any items I have to accompany the pets you have won.
Rules
- Only digital art please, unless you can manage to scan it cleanly.
- If you do not win, do not complain, whine, or harass the winner of this contest. I understand it is very frustrating when you don't win, but please be considerate. No criticizing other people's artwork, constructive or no.
- Do not submit a character that has already been created by another user or created in general [such as pokemon, etc.]
*More will be added over time.
The current end date for this contest is November 30th.

What I Like in a Fursona:
- A completely original design and concept.
- Animals such as calico foxes, deer, Australian Shepherds, horses, and Owls [any type] - hybrids welcome.
- Freckles, spots, fluffy fur/feathers, antlers, bows, and scarves [especially scarves].
- Cream, natural colours, light browns and grays, natural markings.
What I Don't Like in a Fursona:
- A design or concept based off of a show.
- Lizards, antrho, cats, insects, animals with wings [Owls are an exception] and small domesticated animals.
- Scene/emo hair, too many markings, and too many accessories.
- Bright neon colours, and clashing colours.
