"We will never be...brothers!" lux spits the last words maliciously, pendulum lashing wildly as he fights to keep his control. lux snorts and turns his head away, rolling his eyes. "When armies have peaked?"lux suddenly cried, eyes flashing and the hatred reappearing. "There was no such agreement! You have been preparing for war all this time?!" cried lux, body shaking with anger. the stallion reared, pawing the air. "Then mark my words a battle you will get!" cried lux, regretting his words as soon as they escaped his seething maw.
lux growled, a feral sound, and raced forward, teeth bared for his dark counterpart. "Leave!" the cremello reared, lashing at Tenebris.

His eyes glittered with glee. Dark Power coursed through his veins as he gave a thunderous laugh. He ducked away from the failing hooves and arched his neck in a dark, dangerous beauty. He turned and glared behind him.

"Oh, Lux. You will regret this when the blood of your people stains your body in deep scarlet lashes." The dark stallion began to prance away in steady, thunderous beats, his hooves sending shivers through the solid Earth.

lux quivered in anger and fear, blinking rapidly. his whole body shook, and as he look back to face his followers and met their terrified and enraged faces, he bellowed and bucked. Do not lay your eyes upon me!" lux screamed, and raced away, tears already streaking his cheeks dark as he ran on, through the dark night. lux stopped a while later, teeth ground together, breath ragged. he couldn't let his evil counterpart get to him. he blinked slowly, calming his tears and heart rate.
lux sighed and turned, pressing his rump to the tree for support. he slowly mulled over his predicament. he could do nothing, and have his entire cult slaughtered, or fight back, and have only half his cult slaughtered. He growled. either way, he would fail. Tenebris had been preparing for too long. lux just sighed and lay down, feeling the cool grass beneath his silvery pelt. he slowly rubbed off his jewels and chain, relaxing visibly. lux knew his "brother" would be expecting this kind of reaction, so he stood shakily and bellowed, bucking the tree. the i pact shook his core and jarred his legs, sending lances of pain into his body. lux stopped and trotted in the direction of his followers.

The dark horse grinned evilly as his counterpart sped off. With a threatening red glare at the Light Herd, he trod off to the forest. Darkness fell on the valley as he folded his legs and lay in deep, wilted blue flowers. Here his facade slipped away and he sighed deeply. He didn't hate Lux, in fact he had loved his other, but the deep repulse in Lux's eyes when Tenebris had told him of his plan to conquer these normal horses hadn't gone unnoticed. And it wouldn't be unpaid either.

lux sighed and looked back, the harsh wind whipping his mane an forelock into his steady blue eyes. he blinked and gave a breath to the wind. lux turned, great white body slowly making a maneuver that was normally difficult, and though his spine and legs cracked with pain, lux didn't care.
he walked, only walked, slowly back to the herd he'd gotten upset with. as he walked, head low, his adornment slipped and fell, ears pressed forward to let the bejewelled bridle slip of his pearly cranium. lux quickened his pace, tossing his head as he stretched into a canter, bucking off anything that gave him away as light guardian. lux saw two mares (are they in light herds?)and walked over, stopping a few metres away and before they saw him, rolled in mud. he concealed his true coat and trotted over, head low and pace choppy and broken. he was a normal horse.
