Have you ever sold a character you wish you hadnt then found out the person you gave it to sold it?

I get very attached to my characters considering I usually base their personalities off certain sections of my own. So if I ever plan to sell, trade, or give away one, I make sure that I know that person will take good care of that character. However, sometimes I do grow away from some of my older characters as time goes on because I have a bad habit of revamping them somewhat subconsciously. (Chidori, for example, is somewhat of a revamp of my anti-sona.)
Uh, but in short, no. I would feel really bad if that had happened mainly because I don't think I'd have the heart to get mad at the person who sold it nor go track down the character. I was the one who sold it and I should have been ready to except that I may not ever get it back.

Nope.
Here's a solution: don't sell characters that you're not happy to get rid of lol. Seriously, if you think twice about selling a character you shouldn't be selling it. Simple.
I only sell characters that I haven't developed much of an attachment to, and honestly I don't care if the person who bought it from me sells or trades it away. If the character is well developed I'll just give it to someone I can trust.
If you start to regret selling characters you should, I don't know, maybe stop and think twice about selling? I sound harsh but I find it hard to feel sympathetic for people in these situations
