Yelling works for me.
If not jumping around or dancing with the Nintendo seems to work.
In case this all fails just button mash. For your life.
((Or freeze/1hp/Timer Ball/Arena Trap, that worked once* for moi.

I caught him today earlier and I was running around Terminus cave because I couldn't find the way, overall I wasted 40 MAx Repels and 20 Pokeballs on this thing!! URGGGGG

i used like 50 pokeballs on him, if he hadnt used struggle and killed himself first time i might of used less, i named him venom becuse i thought he was a posion bug type.
