Ruby's eyes snapped open and she darted at a squirrel.

AutumnLeaf lifted her muzzle to the sky and parted her jaws, Scenting the air until she picked out two specific scents, Squirrel and mouse. She dropped into a hunters crouch, Her ears flattened against her head as she slithered forward on her unsuspecting victim, A decently plump squirrel.

Ruby skidded to a halt when she smelled a cat (AutumnLeaf), she shivered and backed up, her bell ringing quietly.

Cinderpaw hissed again, flattening her ears, as her den-mates helped her out of the brambles. "Stupid roots." She muttered, giving her chest a few licks. "I'm fine guys, really, just a few tufts of hair out. I'll be fine." She meowed, ears hot. She was grateful that they had helped her out, without a doubt, and didn't laugh. "Sorry."

Nightpaw smiled softly, "Don't worry, it happens. Remember when Blackpaw jumped straight into one on his first day of training?" She laughed.

Blackpaw's fur bristled, "Hey! I was after a bird and it flew away right when I jumped." He informed them, justifing his action. His fur lied flat afterwards and he began to laugh.

Raindapple dashed after Bluepelt and started to pass him. She couldn't believe that she was actually winning, usually her pelt weighed her down and made her move slower than others. The tree came closer in sight.

Leopardpelt scented another mouse and crept toward it. He soon found the creature and readied his haunches to leap. The spotted warrior pounced and delivered the killing bite.

Cinderpaw felt a smile creeping back up onto her face, "I remember. Oh, and then I hit a tree square in front of me?" She meowed, laughing. Suddenly, falling into the bramble thicket didn't seem as bad; more like a funny joke.

AutumnLeaf sprang, Sinking her fangs into the squirrel's throat and killing it swiftly, Her ear twitching as she heard something, It sounded like a bell.
