Atlas sat just outside of the beta's den, watching as the pack slowly awoke. The young brute

River slowed her pace and raised her head as she strode into the camp. Her ears were pointed and her tail was straight in the alpha stance she learned as a pup. She passed the Betas den and ga a small smile and the flick of and ear in greeting to Atlantis. She continued passed dens before she reached the rock she jumped on before reaching her den

Atlas gave a nod back to his alpha, River. He smiled softly, grateful that at least she and Sailor had accepted
him into the pack as one of their own.

Away from the territory outside the border, a small, half blind maimed pup cried for help. Silver was still looking for someone friendly to take her in. She howled and cried, her leg having given out for the night and being stuck where she was in the grass. She tried pulling herself with her front paws and her good leg, but it was hard to see and she wasn't having much luck moving anywhere. Desperate for help, comfort, a family, and a home, she cried and howled again, hoping someone friendly would come.

Sailor's head lifted as she heard a soft cry coming from a pup close by. Slowly, the she-wolf followed the cries and came upon a half-blind pup. Her head lifted and she imminently ran over, hoping not to scare her.

Kenliye's ears perked up, and she stood quickly, hearing the pup's cry. She ran out of the camp and sprinted with her nose pressed to the ground until she came up to the small pup. Without a word, she softly grabbed her by the scruff and picked her up, turning back towards camp.

River paced back and forth in her den. She sighed and pressed her head to the wall forcing herself to think. She closed her eyes and breathed slowly calming herself

Silver was miserable. She cried and howled, but was growing tired and overwhelmed. Just when she thought she'd die, a large wolf came out of seemingly nowhere, picked her up, and started carrying her some place. Where was she taking her? Would she hurt her? Whimpering, she curled up a little as much as she could. He held her gently, but she was so terrified. Would she take her to her pack? What if they killed her? Silver was too tired to think of it. Whimpering, she just went limp and closed her eyes, whimpering until she fell asleep.
