Pinemist had been out, still, when he too had scented the odd scent. Berrywhisker came into his field of vision, and he gently flicked the tom's shoulder with his tail as to not surprise him with his presence. He dipped his head and placed himself beside his clanmate, narrowing his eyes.

[Gonna add Miss Smallnose to the mix.]

The young she-cat moved soundlessly through the woods with gracefulness. Carelessly, she sniffed about for herbs. It wasn't long before Smallnose almost stumbled right into the loner before the scent hit her nose sharply. She crashed about, unbalanced by her sudden stop, as she crashed into the undergrowth. The medicine cat cursed her clumsiness and lay in the plantation, brambles pricking her as she struggled to untangle herself.

(berrywhisker is finding freeze, sharp is off somewhere, and which loner does smallnose run into?)

freeze stiffened as another cats scent appeared by the first one

Berrywhisker noticed a cat entering from the corner of his eye. It was Pinemist. He dipped his head respectfully to acknowledge that he noticed that the tom was there. The reddish-brown cat stalked toward the scent, a white pelt flashing into view. It must be who I smelled... he realized, squinting to see if the cat could get into a better view. It couldn't. The thought of asking 'Who's there?' to the stranger kept echoing in his head, though he did not know if he should listen. If I do, it could scare the cat away, then who knows where it could go, it might even sneak into camp and wreck havoc! Only Starclan knows! he thought, looking toward Pinemist in question of what to do.

freeze stayed in placed and wondered what to do -should i attack? no, that would just get yourself killed feeze, should i say something. i dont know!- she thought

Pinemist glanced around, narrowing his eyes again to try and see the cat now.

[Short post for him. Which one are they seeing?]

Smallnose's paws twisted awkwardly as soon as she got up, and the she-cat then tumbled head-over-heels into Freeze, eyes widening. Thorns pricked her pelt and paws, the she-cat struggled to get away again, now, pain pricking all throughout her body.

freeze jumped back after smallnose tumbled over her scaredly then scrunched down quickly incase the cat was attacking

Berrywhisker all at once scented Smallnose. Ok, that's it, what is this stranger up to? the reddish-brown marched forward toward the unknown cat. He shown a questioning look on his face, still not knowing what to do and not knowing if he should have done what he had just done.

freeze tried to back up but was stopped by a boulder and thought - will this cat try to kill me?!- with wide eyes locked on berrywhisker

Smallnose hunkered down, hissing with bushed-out fur. The she-cat's eyes were furious, but fearful. The medicine cat, knowing nothing else to do and no fighting skills, swung out blindly at Freeze in a frightened way. "G-get away!" Smallnose barked. The medicine cat fought the urge to run off.
