Minerva grinned and petted him some more. "Yeah...It's really changed." She frowned, trying to remember. "Gosh right now I'd be on summer holiday." Sighing, she stood up and let Lou jump onto her arm. Lou shuffled a bit, then looked up at the hawk and blinked at him, wondering what he was doing.

[lonely.silence]

Jessie smiled and looked around "I've been walking for ages it seems." War wagged his tail and licked the girls hand.Streak screeched twice and Jessie looked around saying to Minerva "Theres somebody else around infected though." she held her gun ready. War growled and his hackles raised.

[Sesame]

Instantly, Minerva stood up and unslung her bow from where it was hanging on her shoulder, starling Lou and making her fly away, gaining altitude every second. Minerva watched the buildings on the side of the road warily and nocked an arrow, bringing it back to full draw. "Do you see anything?"

[lonely.silence]

Jessie looked around and saw a small group of people coming towards them.She held up her gun "Well this will be interesting." she fired a shot and a person fell to the ground.The other infected stumbled over the dead one still coming towards Minerva and Jessie.Streak flew down striking one of the people then flying back up before he could react.War barked staying where her was until Jessie gave him a command.

[Sesame]

Minerva swung around and rapidly shot off three arrows, hitting a person with each one, the arrow making a dull smacking sound as they hit there targets. "Yeah, ok." She looked around, then started shooting again. "Umm, I think there are more, I'm just not sure where they are..." Putting her fingers to her lips, she gave a shrill whistle and a gesture up towards Lou, who was perched on a window sill of one of the buildings. Lou blinked at her, then opened her wings and soared off over the side streets and alleys, watching for movement.

Jessie waited "Nice shots." she told War to sit and the big dog xlowly sat watching everything carefully.He whined slightly anxious and Jessie patted his head.Streak soared above and watched the ground below.

Minerva loosed one more then looked at her and smiled. "Thanks" Not seeing any more people, she put the arrow in her hand back in the quiver. "Oh, and by the way, what's you name? I don't think we got to that part before....those people showed up." Lou did a quick sweep of the alleys on the right, then flew over to the left alleys to search there.

"My names Jessie." she lowered her gun and looked around.War ran off ahead on the road Streak following the dog.

Minerva nodded. "Hello Jessie, I'm Minerva. Oh and that over there is Lou." She gestured to the speck in the sky far to the left that hooted and came back down to land on Minerva's arm. "Hmm, nothing over there I guess."

Jessie smiled and War started running back to the two Streak perched on his head lazily. "Well the dogs War and the bird on his head is Streak." she chuckled at Streak.
