Yeah I dont care about pokemon natures, I certainly don't go to catch certain types of pokemon based on their stats or natures. The only time stats come into play is when I'm assigning them moves. As for natures, that's how I dictate their "personality" in my mind. xD

When I first played Diamond, I didn't understand what natures did, but my Piplup was Hasty and the PokeDex said it was Hasty so I thought it was fitting. And yeah, I use stats for selecting moves as well. I didn't really understand what stats did at first, then I figured out what speed did, as well as the in-battle-only accuracy and evasion. I eventually found out what the other stats did by reading a guide.
