Aine nodded, and began rising to her feet. She teetered a bit standing up, putting one hand on the wall, and straightened up. "I still have food to gather for the kitchens," she said. "I wasn't much help at all yesterday."

Aine walked over to one of the tables with food on it, and snatched up a loaf of bread, nibbling on it as she walked towards the exit to the tunnels. She paused again. Her Grace had been able to get her through when peope's emotions had been leading her to the other side, but there was no one at the entrance of the Tombs for her to sense. She looked at Damien rather helplessly.
