The Lion King: Kovu`s and Kiara`s Reign

Kopa nodded. "Well you seem okay to me," he circled her and plopped down.

[Scarlett;]

Vitani nodded, laying down next to Kopa, though not too close. "Thanks," she said as kindly as she could muster. She looked up at the sky as she slid a paw over her head, trying to smooth down the always-present tuft of fur sticking up in between her ears. "It's nice to know that someone doesn't compare me to that she-witch." She looked down again, suddenly embarrassed. "Not all children can honestly say that they loved their mother. I did, as a cub. But she became too abusive, and she always had her heart set on Kovu; he was always her favorite. So, all we ever did was fight when I grew older." She suddenly stopped, realizing that he probably didn't want to hear a sob story. "I'm sorry about all that. You probably don't care anyways," she said aloud, looking at the male lion.

She sat down, getting comfortable before managing to stutter out a few words. "Im.." she said, taking a deep breath. "Pregnant" she says, the always giddy lioness shifted her amber gaze towards the floor.

Tuka playfully runs through the tall dry grass of the pridelands. He stops spotting a few meerkats and starts to chase after a few that were above ground.
