Honestly, "I know _______, but ______" trades don't bother me.

"I know _______, but ______" auction bids are a completely different thing.
If you know I'm not accepting any 09 pets - why would you send a bid with only 09 pets asking if it's okay?

I'm always giving out overpay (from my trade groups, not my collections group so it's not that bad I guess) to ensure that it'll be accepted. I just KNOW that if I send fair trades they won't be accepted Stop it girl
