There're many alternatives you can use such as Crook, Claw, Fang, Grappler, Hook, Spur, Tallen, Tallin, etc.

Lumen has some fish that he watches, but they aren't specific ones, and I wouldn't call them friends XD
Nope. Azureus has no friends. Not even Mako ones.

Is your makoatl social or more inverted? What's made them this way?
Lumen is pretty much terrified of interaction with others. He thinks they're dangerous and might want to hurt him...
Azureus just doesn't trust others. He's fairly social, but he will put on a persona for this rather than being himself.

Not sure about the last question... XD
Well Azureus has his cards, but Lumen, no idea.

Shiro likes seahorses the most, but doesn't interact with them much.
Robin enjoys stalking the squid. He doesn't think of them as friends, more as food. Nom nom nom
Blade thinks angler fish are nice, but he's really shy so he wouldn't try to communicate with them.

Shiro and Robin are very much xD They both have strong personalities and are pretty loud.
Blade however tends to avoid people and shut himself up to read. He's rather awkward.


Other than swimming, what hobbies do your mako's have or partake in?

Shiro enjoys cliff diving 8D
And Robin is a lazy bum, he likes video games. Sometimes surfing.

Definitely social ~ Calypso hasn't had anything specific to make her this way... she was just never shy as a child.
