They're been pretty good, but I am seriously wondering: why must every single YA book with a female main character involve romance? Why?
That is what they assume all preteens and teens like o.e
I recently read Divergent aas well, and even with the romance, I liked it. The plot reminded me kind of the Glen Beck book, Control, and the Hunger Games, just abit
Hug your pets. They're gone before you know it.

I haven't read the others, but I have read the Hunger Games, and I agree that it reminded me, even just a little, of the Hunger Games. Actually, all three of them did. I liked Divergent, though it lacked many surprises. Ashes was well-written, but the subject matter was not my favourite, and it often lapsed into too gruesome and/or too disturbing for my taste. Legend was also rather predictable. I liked all three, but none seemed to be really extraordinary.

I'd suggest Gary Paulsen's WoodsRunner and Laurie Halse Andersen's Chains. It's been a while since I read them (at least a year and a half), but I remember them both being good.

Anyway, I finished Ender's Game, and I have to admit, I was a tad disappointed. I usually don't like happy endings, but for once, I was really rooting for a happy ending, and it didn't happen. It was still a decent book though. I can understand how everyone likes it.
Dont worry I haven't read House of hades too, I am currently on a waitinglist which sucks (at library)
I think I might just buy it instead.
