I totally agree that there is a lack of Semi-Literate RPers in chickensmoothie and I am highly interested in meeting more people like you guys out there! I love to RP but I haven't been doing it as much any more because I've had discouraging experiences lately with lack of RPers, and those who
do join make very vague posts... I don't bite and I'm usually very easy going, so I'd love to make some new RPing friends. <3

A tawny, grey-flecked she-wolf walked in sunken silence. The only sound was that of the wind blowing and rustling the yellow dry after-winter grass. Little patches and tufts of young tender spring grass shoots poked their way through the ground, but the rest was pretty barren, the after-math of winter. The sky was a brilliant, fresh, clean blue, but Athalia, keeping her head close to the ground, didn't notice. Her uninterested behavior and shrunken stomach were signs of her suffering soul. Her eyes were dull as she walked through the very middle of the meadow, unsafe behavior for a wolf who in the past had thought only of keeping cover at all times. Reaching the end of the clearing, Athalia lifted her head and sniffed half-heartedly at her surroundings. This was Imara, she recognized the scent of the land from her long travels in search of precious herbs. She was accustomed to traveling with her brother Falgun in the past, sometimes, even alone, but the thought of returning home to her proud mother and waiting family had always kept her spirits blissful. Now the world seemed large, frightful, and unwelcoming.
Athalia decided to rest here, in Imara tonight. She had adopted an unusual practice in the last weeks: climbing trees at night. It's a very humiliating behaviour for a wolf, she had thought, But then, I am a humiliating excuse for a wolf myself. She walked a little deeper into the cover of the forest, her eyes in search of a thick tall tree. But not a pine. Too prickly. She hoped to find an oak or another more comfortable tree. Though the leaves would be fallen from winter, it would have to do. It was not even evening when she had located and climbed to a comfortable branch, but she didn't care. She didn't know where she was going or what she would do with her life, so it didn't hurt to just lay down and call it quits early.
Suddenly, Athalia's keen eyes detected movement below. She quickly sat up in the branch and sniffed. Four wolves were gathered not too far from her. Her heart began to race. Was she intruding on another pack's territory? Her foot slipped and a medium-sized branch snapped and fell down. Surely they must have heard that.. Oh snap! she thought, then frowned angrily at her ridiculous unintended pun. She had to get down... and fast! They couldn't see her like this, up in the tree... it would be so shameful! But in her fright she couldn't move. So this is how they'll see me, frozen up in a tree like a frightened panther-cat. In her frustration and fear, a little tear fell onto her muzzle. She flattened her ears and braced herself for whatever was to come.
Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have: I just started one! I hope it's not so text-heavy it will scare people away, though...
