and i get that and all, but some of the catastrophic meltdowns I've seen just strike me as a little over the top, especially when you take into account that HS will still be around afterwards, its not like its getting deleted or something haha.

Yes. There is a truly logical side to homestuck ending ! Let's not let ourselves down cuz' an ending brings a new begging!
I still adore All the characters and am looking forward to the rest of it! But people. I am not forcing you to feel emotionless you can feel however you please! In fact I am going to be stupendously depressed when it ends. I will still live in the fandom! So let's look forward to the rest of it.
