How long have you been a member on CS?: Jan 22 09, but I've visited since it was SWK
How often can you come on the CS forums?: Every day at least three times a day.
How much time do you usually spend on CS in an average day or week?: Lets see...an hour in the am, an 30-45min at lunch (12ish), and for a very long time in the evenings. Say a few hours (i do have kiddos to feed ^-~).
Have you ever been a moderator on any other sites, if so please link to them: No I have not.
Why do you want to be a moderator here?: I love this community and want to be able to help keep it such a friendly place as well as help take some of the workload off the mod's who do so much already.
Any other comments?: Basically that I'm a dedicated, hard workin gal who just thinks the world of this site and would love to be able to help! *Also, I most likely will be moving in the next year (6mo-12mo) and wouldn't be working anymore. At least not full time, might do some part time work here and there, so I'd be able to be on more at that point.

How long have you been a member on CS?: Ive been a member since January, when i found someone with a malk wolf in their siggy! Ofcourse, all links back and what-so-ever was removed, so I had a hard time finding this site
How often can you come on the CS forums?: I can come to the forums as good as every day unless I'm in say Italy and have no access to a computer.
How much time do you usually spend on CS in an average day or week?: I spend about.. 8 hours overall on my computer on a daily basis doing homework and such, and during that time im always on CS.
Have you ever been a moderator on any other sites, if so please link to them: I used to be MOD on a Norwegian forum that we sadly had to close down due to loss of intrest, but I often help my teachers at school run our class' site and forums.
Why do you want to be a moderator here?: I want to be a moderator here to help as much as I can. I really enjoy this site and all its aspects, so 'lifting some weight' from the hands of the other moderators and staff to make their 'CS day' easier would really please me. I'm a very hard-working person, so I wish i could do more than just watch as the moderators eventually drown in work.
Any other comments?: Since im on my 2 months summer vacation soon, I'll be spending alot of time on CS. I'm very friendly and wouldnt get angry unless I have to!

Why do you want to be a moderator here?:
I love this site, and everyone in it, I want to make sure everyone here is safe and happy. I want to keep the forums clean, escpicially since we have young ones here and so there isn't any trouble. I can do my job, love to help out with things, and pretty much do whatever I'm told.

In the mean time, what is expected of future moderators?
For example, I'm online quite a bit, but there are certain sub-boards I just don't visit. Would I just be looking at posts that have been reported? That sounds simple enough, but is there anything else unwritten you'd like us to do?

Good question.
Well, I don't visit every forum... It's not possible for one person and some things just bore me to death...
It is good when you can visit as many forums/topics as possible, but it's ok, when you don't go to certain forums (unless it's almost all of them).
For example, I go only to the RP forum when there's something reported.
(That's why reports are so damn important. XD;)

Why do you want to be a moderator here?: I've loved CS ever since I joined, I'm on it all the time, and I'm kinda a mini mod already XD. And I want to prove that it's not your age that matters. Plus, I can also stay really calm in arguments, and not get too worked up,
Any other comments?: I am a schoolgirl, and my mum has a policy, "homework, before free time" so some days I might not be on. Plus my computer and Chickensmoothie don't like eachother, so it's very slow

Why do you want to be a moderator here?: I enjoy these forums and I like helping others, older players and newbies. I'll often try to beat gLove to answering a question in the question thread. It's a fun game Truth be told though, I can be a bit rough around the edges. I'm not sure if I'm polite enough to be a mod, but I would like the chance.

Also, since you asked for honest answers, Would it sound silly if I say I want to try it? I've been interested in becoming a moderator for various site forums, but as I have no experience in the matter, it's difficult to apply for one as every forum asks this question. I just think it would be nice to have some sort of portfolio or even to discover if this is something I'd also like to tackle elsewhere.

Any other comments?: I had to debate on applying as I might be moving here in a month or so, so not sure how helpful I'd be then. But like all things, that passes and I'd be available again.

How long have you been a member on CS?: Since January 11, 2009; around 5 months. My best friend introduced me to this site and I kinda became addicted. I enjoy spending time on CS and I spend a significant portion of my internet time on this site.

Why do you want to be a moderator here?: I love working with computers. I would enjoy helping new members learn the ropes and answering questions, and would also like to gain more experience in helping run a forum.

Any other comments?: I will be going into college in the fall, majoring in graphic arts and animation, and minoring in computer science; I will also be getting a job soon and be working through college. During that time I do believe I will still be able to get online to CS, though there may be some periods in which I may have less time than others. I'm on summer vacation now but I think my mom is going to make me get a job soon enough; however, I think I'll still have a good amount of time here.
I understand that the job of moderator is not an easy job; it requires a vigilant eye and a very good knowledge of the rules, and the ability to recognize when said rules are being broken, whether intentionally or unintentionally. It requires being polite and helpful; it also requires being firm when dealing with repeated offenders, and being solid when confronted with "abuse", as I seem to interpret it, undeserved verbal abuse. I believe I am capable of fulfilling these requirements, and will do so to my utmost capacity, if chosen for the job.

How long have you been a member on CS?: If I remember right, since 21th of October
How often can you come on the CS forums?: Almost all the time, except of when I'm sleeping. I'm capable of being online almost everyday, excep of if I'm going on vacation or trips with my class. I'm capable of being online during schooltime too, since we use laptops and internet during our lessons.
How much time do you usually spend on CS in an average day or week?: Well from I wake up, until I go to sleep. I always turn on the computer and checks out what have happend during the night, before going to school. If we have to count hours I spend about 19 every day. I dont go early to bed, and usually sleeps about 4-5 hours.

Why do you want to be a moderator here?: I would like to be a moderator so I can help out you Tess, and the other moderators. It's a hard work to keep track of everything that's going on here on CS, with so few people, and I would love to give you guys a helping hand, so you maybe wont have such a hard time here on CS. I love CS, and it's the first time a page have catched my attention for so long. I wanna do all I can to keep this site alive, for the sake of everyoen else that loves CS as much as I do. I will admit that I have made some mistakes during the months too, but I have learned from them now, and is doing my best to stay to the rules, and make sure everyone else do it, so we all can have a wonderful time in this community. I wanna give something back to all of you, and this might be my chance to do so. CS is one of the things that can make my day, through the last hard school years, that just can be a hell. I then can turn on my laptop, and then talk to all these wonderful people here, that always know a way to cheer you up. I'm a person with a strong will. If I think someone is doing something wrong, I'm not afraid of telling them, even with the hard members there can be. I'm not afraid of getting insulted if they think I'm the "mean mod". I have always been like "If people doesn't like me, then they shall just stay away from me", but I always do my best to be polite, but is not afraid of being hard if it's necessary. I always do my best to find a way where everyone can be satisfied, and I see myself as a fair person. I wont go easy on someone just because I know them well. No matter friend or not, I'll tell them all if they break rules, or aren't treating others well. I like to help other people in any possible way. It's just a typical habit of mine, even though it a few times have been a bad thing in real life. I see myself as an open and helpful person, but of course that's only my point of view. I like if everything is clean, people follows the rules, and everyone gets along, and I would like to help out so CS can be a forum where everyone is getting along, and we can have a community for everyone, and everyone feels welcome, and respected. I'm aware of the huge responsibility there is of being a mod, and that it'll be a hard work, but I wont doubt that I'll be able to handle the pressure, and hope that I'll be able to live up to your expectations.
