Fire's head lifted sharply as Shadow Demon's scent abruptly entered his senses, causing him to growl quietly, though it wasn't a hostile growl. Dumah's light brown gaze lifted to the face of Shadow Demon, and she heard a quiet sob bubble out of her lips as her gaze moved to her human cousin. She had been so afraid of everything after Shadow Demon had left her in the forest covered in shadows to be found by Fire, but she was glad that nothing had happened to her friend and her cousin. "Thank you," she choked out in Lupine, her words practically a whimper as she looked up toward the two before her.

"Your welcome" Shadow Demon said softly as she patted Dumah head. "I am glad you are safe. But, this is where i must leave you" She said softly. "I must get back to my home. My pack" Shifting to her lupine form, she nuzzled Dumahs thigh, and then nuzzled Flames before heading off into the woods.

Wrapping his arms around Dumah, Slater broke down. Crying softly "Dumah" He whispered into her hair as he pulled her close. "Thank god your okay" He mummered. "And thank you. Flames, for getting her here safety"

Dumah practically clung to Slater, her slender hands curling tightly in the fabric of his shirt, sobbing into his chest, her entire body shaking with the force of her cries. She couldn't bring herself to speak in English, so in Lupine, she continuously apologized for making him worry and for running off and for not being careful. Every once in a while, her cries were interrupted by hiccups, and she didn't lift her face from his shirt, even as Fire's familiar voice rung in her mind. Of course, Slater. I think it would be best if we get her home. he nudged the back of Dumah's leg in a comforting manner, before sending a thought to his joint-alpha's sister's mind, Tempest, return to pack lands. Dumah is safe, and we are bringing her home now.

"Of course" Slater said softly. Looking down at Dumah, he gently kissed her cheek. "Its okay sweety" He whispered. Picking her up gently, he sat her up on his horse, and then hopped up behind him. "Come, time to get you home. Your family." He mummered. "They are waiting for you"

Dumah, who was still shaking with her now quiet cries, hiccupped twice in succession as Slater sat her atop his stallion. She sat there both awkwardly and frightenedly, and she knew she'd probably be afraid of the large mammal because of what happened that day. Forcing herself to speak English, though her voice was quiet and shaky, and a whimper was laced through the two words that she managed, "Thank you,"

Wrapping his arms around her waist, he smiled and nudged his horse forward. "Your welcome Dumah. But please, rest now. Im betting your exhausted. Sleep if you can. We will see you safely returned home" He said softly as he followed Flames through the forest.
