What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

++Reason for choosing the name

Kitsune means Nine-Tailed Fox in Japanese, and I always loved
the old japanese legends, they're interesting and quirky and sometimes
just plain weird. Just like this design seems to me, calm and collected
yet quirky, like a color swirl.
The legend about the Kitsune is my favourite, and I simply love the sound
of the name ^-^

A lively little Mutato that can't stop being curious about everything!
Clever, but always forgetting something, this little cutie keeps
stumbling around her life not getting anything done right, but still
having fun.
EDIT: SQUEEEEE, I loved the design but I would have never imagined

Wisteria

ＲＥＡＳＯＮ ＦＯＲ ＮＡＭＥ:
Wisteria is a beautiful flowering plant. They can be purple, pink, or white, and are an extremely pretty plant. I named the Mutato after it because I feel like the Wisteria plant captures its appearance perfectly. The Mutato design is like something magical, or something out of a fairy tale. Wisteria plants look like fairies and pixies live in them.

ＭＵＴＡＴＯ ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ:
Wisteria is a very graceful Mutato. Some might call her too prim and proper because of her airy personality. However, Wisteria is also a very compassionate and sensitive Mutato. She may seem aloof and distant at times, but that is only because her spirit is like the wind. It's always moving, never stays in one spot for long, and has no worries. It's a bit like a higher power. The wind can be gentle, like a breeze, which is how Wisteria normally is. This Mutato is almost always a pleasant whisper of a wind. However, if she gets riled up into a storm, the wind starts blowing harder and harder until she is in a tempest. Like the wind, Wisteria can be unpredictable. However, if you befriend her, Wisteria will sing you lovely songs while floating in the air. She's a talented, graceful, ballerina-like breeze.
