"Okay now that's just sad" I said and swung around a curve then down a windey road finally the steering must have locked up on the ferrari and he went into the dust. "Jeasus that guy is a freakin lunatic"

Carmen sighed, "She put a tracking device....in my purse." She shook her head, and called Jessie again. "Yeah, yeah, I know." She muttered, then rolled her eyes. "Well tell Vickie that she can kill him later. We're prefectly fine, no need to bring your helicopter." She sighed, and ran her hand through her hair. "Mmkay, bye Jess." She said, and shook her head. "Vickie is mad at you, and I'm gonna take a guess and say that Kat and Tristen are too." She laughed lightly.

"Let them. Apparently I got bigger problems". I said coldly with my thumb under my chin and finger over my mouth and my elbbow on the window rest.

Carmen smirked, and watched him for a moment before giggling softly. "I was just thinking, I've never seen you more scared of anyhthing before." She said, and glanced out the window. "I feel like something is missing, like something interesting should happen right about now." She sighed, and looked back over at Jacob. "You'll be alright Jacob, trust me."

"Carmen..he wants me dead so he can get the money." I said softly. "I have no choice but to run." Then my eyes got misty and I bowed my head to the side still watching the road

Carmen nodded, "I know." She said softly, and gazed out the window. I know alot more than you think I do. THere;s so much I haven't told you. She silently, doodled along the window, lost in her thoughts again. It would probably be better if my family thought I was dead. THey could finally life their happy cheerful life.

Finding a place to pull over out of sight I put the car in park and turned the engine off. I couldn't drive right now and so I got out of the car and went to the hill and sat down staring out to the desert letting the hot sun dry my tears

Carmen sat in the car for a moment longer, watching Jacob. She finally climbed out of the car, her eyes still on him. "My poor Jacob." She whispered to herself, and leaned against the car door.

carmen took a deep breath and slowly walked over to Jacob. "Please don't cry." She said, sitting down beside him. "Hey, I know for a fact, that nothing bad will happen to you. You won't die, as long as I'm here to help." She whispered.
