As soon as he was deeper than his hips in the water, Xavier tightly clung to Angelo. He shivered, slightly from the fear of being swept away by the weak current, and also slightly from the fear of panicking and drowning. He did though do as Angelo said, barely kicking his feet near the bottom of the shallow river.
