Attican
73 - Brute - Keeper

The brute turn around to walk away, but ended up vaguely hearing pieces of the fighter's retort. His ear flicked, contemplation running through his head at what seemed like 100 miles per hour. A low, non-threatening growl rumbled through his throat as he turned halfways around. "
Respect your Elders Xani... and
know your place." Each word was defined, as if trying to make sure it rang in her mind. "You are a fighter. Your job in the pack is to
fight in case trouble arises to defend a protect your pack. And part of that job is to make sure that you are fit and healthy to do so with the best of your ability for your safety and others.
My job is to see everyone else be able to do their jobs, and that is what I am doing."
The brute huffed, anger unfortunately falling into the pit of his stomach. He knew she didn't completely understand, she hadn't been through changes like he had, seen as much in life, and not had the spirits connect with her as sometimes he had. "I have been through much in my years believe it or not, I have been through what could be called war between packs, times of anger and hardship, lies, and also times of prosperity..." His voice softened from the harder state that it had been.
"Just respect me. I am aware of my actions." He turned his head back to the way he had came, standing up again to leave. His voice got kinder still, sounding a little like a father figure. Attican only wanted everyone safe. "Rest well Xani, tomorrow begins a new challenge for all of us."
Finally at that the Keeper bounded away, back towards the carcasses and the few members still around them.
