Seven Sins, Seven Virtues (Open!)

The Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Holy Virtues are key elements in keeping the world in balance. You cannot have Gluttony without Temperance, and Forgiveness is lost without Wrath. But little do the people of the Earth know that these Sins and Virtues are living amongst us, appearing as normal human beings.

The Seven Deadly Sins:

Lust has an insatiable need for romance or things of a romantic nature. This includes thoughts, desires, and actions.
Gluttony over indulges in anything to the extreme, usually food or drink.
Greed has a need for material possessions or material wealth. If this need is unfed, Greed person may even resort to hoarding their goods, theft, robbery, or obtaining any material possessions by means of trickery, deception, or manipulation. Greed is usually easy to bribe, or will take any bet or do anything for a dollar.
Sloth is lazy, has no motivation, and is usually overcome by constant sadness.
Wrath has extreme anger, rage, hatred, or a need for vengeance or revenge. Wrath will often resort to taking the law in their own hands if they feel the justice system has failed them.
Envy feels the need to have better or be better than others. The need to have the goods of others. Wanting what others have for themself.
Pride Pride has a need to be more important than others. Pride usually fails to give due complements to others, but instead fishes for compliments for theirself.

The Seven Holy Virtues:

Chastity has great courage and boldness. They have an embracing of moral wholesomeness and achieving purity of thought through education and betterment.
Temperance has constant mindfulness of others and their own surroundings; they practice self-control, abstention, and moderation.
Charity has great generosity, willingness to give, and nobility of their thoughts or actions.
Diligence is zealous and careful nature in their actions and work. They have decisive work ethic. They budget their time; monitoring their own activities to guard against laziness.
Forgiveness has forbearance and endurance through moderation. They are good at resolving conflicts peacefully, as opposed to resorting to violence. They are known for their ability to forgive; to show mercy to sinners.
Kindness is known for their charity, compassion, friendship, and sympathy without prejudice and for its own sake.
Humility has modest behavior, selflessness, and the giving of respect. They give credit where credit is due, instead of unfairly glorifying themselves.

1. You may have up to two characters: 1 Sin, and 1 Virtue. You cannot have a Sin and Virtue that oppose each other (e.g. Lust and Chastity, Gluttony and Temperance). If you have two characters, one must be male, and one female.

2. Keep in mind the point of the RP--the Sins are trying to disrupt the world and corrupt the Virtues. The Virtues are trying to bring harmony to the world and change the Sins.

3. When creating your character, base their appearance off of the sin/virtue (e.g. Gluttony isn't going to be thin).

4. Play the Sin/Virtue well. Keep in mind the things that Sin/Virtue would do in a certain situation.

5. No anime pictures.

6. The Sin/Virtue must be called by its Sin/Virtue. No other names.


Hint: The opposing Virtues/Sins are listed in the same order. E.G. Greed is third on the Sin list, and Charity is third on the Virtue list, so the two are opposing.

°Melody is a gorgeous girl. She is a tall and slender girl with a heartshaped face and a breathtaking smile. Her skin is a smooth, unblemished ivory color. Her dace and arms are covered with a dusting of golden freckles that make the hazel flecks in her wide, emerald green eyes pop. She has a full bottom lip and a thinner upper lip. Her eyes are thickly fringed with dark lashes so they stand out against her pale skin. Her face is framed in silky waves of brilliant auburn hair that is streaked with lighter auburn and dark strawberry blonde. All in all she is very pretty. She has long, graceful limbs; the limbs of a ballerina. Her hands and fewer are both very dainty and with her child-like features there is a very vulnerable quality to the girl°

°She is a seductress. Sly and cunning. Melody is a rebel, a bad girl through and through. She lives to break rules and entice others to go against their better natures. Melody is a notorious flirt too. When she sees something she wants she is ruthless in her quest to claim it. She is very intelligent, but rarely let's onto this fact. She is actually very fun to be around. Never let it be said that she is a stick in the mud. She loves to have fun and is well-known for her awesome parties. She has a great sense of humor and loves to make others laugh. She is also a hopeless romantic. Sadly, however, she has yet to meet a guy who can give her a romantic time. Most just want in her pants°

Melody was raised by humans. A different family every few years so no one realized she is immortal. She found wreak havoc on the poor, hormonal humans to be easier if she lived among them. That's why she adopted the human name Melody Wolfe.

That's good, but I prefer to have the Sins/Virtues be called by their Sin/Virtue, so things don't get confusing. It makes more sense, anyway. Maybe she goes by the human name only when she has need for one (interacting with humans, etcetera)?

sloth stands five feet and 4 inches tall. She is a small and lean figure with long dark brown hair that goes to the middle of her back, she often puts it in a bun or puts a black beanie on her head

sloth is quite and reserve. she doesn't talk much and is often by herself. she likes to hide in her room or in a corner. she likes her shadow more than everyone else. Sloth is always overcome with sadness, not able to control it. She doesn't realize it but sometimes it rubs off on the other six. Sloth doesn't think things out and usually make bad decision, usually why people don't listen or pay attention to her. When sloth gets super irritated when she has a good decision but no one listens. She screams and throws a tantrum. At least until someone listens. Even if she is just angry she will yell until she calms me

Gluttony is a little chubby, she loves to eat you see. She is rather short as well and weighs more than her height. Her hair is brown and swirls down past her shoulders. Her eyes are the most beautiful sea green but most look past her charming features and only see her imperfect body.

Gluttony absolutely loves to indulge in anything. Mainly food and drink though, give her a bag of chips and a Pepsi and she's in heaven. But then soon it will turn into ten packets of chips and 20 Pepsi's and she's not even full. Gluttony isn't afraid to hold back from anything, she doesn't care what others think of her. She will always pick food over friends as well, which is probably why she has none. She is often very extreme and in your face and likes everything by the dozen.

Gluttony has never been in love or had love. Whenever anyone catches sight of her they turn away in disgust as she usually has food with her and stuffs her face.

Humility is average height for his appeared age and isn't too bad to look at. He has fair skin and soft brown hair which he doesn't style. He likes to keep everything simple and doesn't bother about his looks much. He also has chestnut brown eyes.

Humility is completely selfless, always putting others before himself. Often he forgets about himself and does need a little help taking care of his body. He doesn't like to worry about himself much though as he fears it would be too selfish. He is very modest, and he takes compliments with a blush and tries to brush it off like it's not true. He has very high respect for everyone and will always give credit to others when they have earned it. He likes taking notice of others achievements and will often take time out to congratulate others on their success.
