Dino's name: Moonshadow... yes, this is a rather dull name for most. However, that's what the color of the dinosaur made me think of: Moonlight dappling the ground during a full moon. I love going out in the nighttime at my house that's out in the country when there's a full moon, when everything is lit up in silver, the crickets are chirping, the frogs are croaking (more like screeching, but... xD) and everything is just so... beautiful.

Rela is a confident, friendly, 16-year-old girl. Her hair is a warm, chocolatey brown, with wave-curls. Her eyes are a piercing green, like a cat's, and they can catch just about any sort of movement. She has a knack for sharp comebacks, and can think quickly- most of the time. Boys tend to make her nervous, and her thought process is slowed down by a tenfold around them. She, unlike her people, likes the straightforward approach, rather than the slow and steady negotiation that bores her so- she likes to battle. She's a deadly defender of those she loves. if she had any choice in a battle, she'd want to find a corner. Yes, a corner. With her mindset, corners are easily defended. Sure, once you go in, you can't get out- until you destroy all of the attackers, like she always plans to. She refuses to go down without a fight, and nothing can stand in her way if she wants it desperately enough.

Dino's name:

Khaan; it is the Mongolian word for Lord. I feel like a lordly name will fit him nicely. His gold markings make him look proud and royal, so I couldn't think of a better name for him.

Vexa Fildershot; derived from the word vex, which means to annoy, bother, puzzle, or trouble.

__Vexa was given her name by her father, as it is custom for her family to have the fathers name the first born child.

__Born on one of the hottest days of the hottest months, August fourth. She's 17, one year older than what the common age for finding a steed is, but she is stubborn and determined to find the perfect mount for her.

Appearance:
__Vexa is a lean girl of about 5'7". To start off at the top of her, her hair is black. It's very thick and wavy if she leaves it down, but she finds that unmanagable and instead braids it back behind her. It keeps it off of her neck and out of her face. She has her mother's grey eyes, and newly tanned skin. Her usually paler skin has gotten darker the longer she has been out looking for her dinosaur. Aside from the normal features of a human face, Vexa has a small scar on her left side, right above her lip. Though, there are no other distinguishing marks; no freckles or moles. She is rather thin for a girl, having almost no curves and lean muscle in it's place. After training to be a rider, she's grown stronger than before and taken on a more athletic build.
Personality:
__Ever since being in the womb, Vexa has been a handful. She is one of those bone-headed people that does as they please without really worrying about the consequences that may come from her actions. Most of that stems from her stubborn attitude. When she gets her mind set on something, she does it. Telling her she can't accomplish that for whatever reason only makes her want to do it more; to prove the person wrong. While it can be annoying to most people she encounters, her competitive side does give her somewhat of an edge over others. She refuses to back down and that usually leads to her getting what she wants in the end. When it comes to love, she has no interest in the idea. Her pushy, somewhat harsh nature hasn't left her with many male suitors, so she has gotten to the point where she doesn't bother with it. After what happened with her mother, there isn't a strong desire for her to have children of her own. The only thing she really plans on being anywhere remotely nurturing to is her dino, whenever she may capture him. In her opinion, they are better than children since they don't spit up on you and will be there to protect you if need be. "The benefits are mutual" she says.
Goal & History:
__Her goal is to capture the Bernikesaurus that is best matched to her. She's been waiting a year to find the dino that's right for her, so that she can bond with them and be with them until one or the other passes.
__Vexa was the first born of her parents. They were wed when her mother was 19 and her father was 22. Her name was earned for her constant squirming while in the womb and the awful morning sickness her mother got with her. She was born the next year. Her first two years were as uneventful as any child's. She grew and learned to talk and walk, and soon enough her mother became pregnant again. Things went smoothly clear up until it was time for her mother to give birth. Complications led to her younger brother being born, but her mother grew very weak. She named the baby the male counterpart to her name, as she wanted him to carry on once she was gone. It was only a few weeks after Isador's birth that their mother passed away. Errol then raised Vexa and Isador by himself and with the help of his wife's sister. Vexa grew up with hardly any memory of her mother, so she cannot mourn over her. The both of them grew up rather unchanged by their mother's death. Yet again, more uneventful growing up. Until now, that is, because she can start trying to find her ride.

Yes, I do plan on having Vexa train Khaan. I am always looking for reasons to write and this is as good a reason as any. I love that there is more to this adopt than just filling out a form and moving on. It also gives a chance for me to expand Vexa as she bonds with Khaan. Overall, training him is the thing I look forward to most.

Joel is a rather laid back kind of guy. He is the one you would call grumpy and most of the time lazy.. Even though he likes to lay around much and rarely does any "exercise" he has a nice tone to him. He doesn't like to be involved much with others and is always spitting back remarks. Although you would say he's stubborn and a "couch potato" he has a soft side to him, but he makes sure not to let any ever see it!

Joel as dark blue eyes and his skin as more of a dark tanned skin. He has Dark brown hair and is mostly seen in goggles that fit firmly on his head and a greyish blue tunic with leather armor and on top of that a thin piece of leather armor. Joel also wears black leather boots, with a belt that contains a small knife and usually spends most of his time sketching various things.

On The Outside: Dakota is a slender build girl, with long, sleek hair as black as the night which she usually wears down, because she complains that when its tied up it makes her face larger. She has piercing green eyes and pale, clear skin. Usually, she wears dark clothes, like the color of the soil and the tree bark, or the color of ashes left by the wild fires. She wears a necklace with a dragon tooth and usually is barefooted.
On The Inside: Dakota is usually seen alone. She doesn't like being in a big crowd and is very very shy. She spents most of her time in the woods, she knows every stream, evey tree, and every rock. She even sometimes sings to the nature and hear it sing back. She has only one friend, a hare named Glen. Though he lives completely in the wild, he always comes when he hears Dakota's call, and is always there to listen to her and understand. Dakota loves to climb trees, and is commonly seen in one, there is no tree in the woods she did not climb. Her biggest dream would to own a Bernikesaurs. She would sometimes lie on the grass in the woods with Glen and image herself on the back on the mighty beast, as they threw cation to the wind and made the ground shake.
Interests and Talents:
As I said earlier, Dakota loves to climb trees, as well as going out there and exploring, and always seeks danger. She cant sit still sometimes, and just has to run off and find something new. She also loves animals and speaks to them as though they where human.
Parents:
Her mother dies giving birth to Dakota, and her father is unknown to her. They tell her he went patrolling, and never returned. Dakota's grandmother raised her until she was 12, which was when she died. Dakota has taken care of herself since.

Didilya is a slender girl, 16 years old, with tan skincolor and delicate features. She has long, dark blonde hair, which she often wears braided or in a bun, and has light blue eyes.
Didilya likes to wear shirts made out of cotton and for most of the time she's wearing a vest and pants out of dark leather, Didilya is not the type for fancy dresses or skirts at all. Although she is a pretty girl, she likes to be save rather than beautiful, elegant and well dressed.
Didilya has a more complex personality than one could think she has. Her freedom is very important to her and she can't imagine sitting somewhere, playing the butler for some children. She hates it to talk with the tribe's women about any duties that a woman has. Rather she sneaks out of the tribe's camp to go into the woods. At the moment she is learning how to handle a bow and how to use the arrows with it. Didilya is a fast and good climber, but at all she has not much strength. If she can find some, she studies the dinosaurs and tries to understand their body language and behavior. She is very curious about them and her biggest wish is to own one herself. Her brother is making fun of her for being so erratic. He thinks that she can't make it to a dinosaur rider. But Didilya isn't caring about his opinion. If she can ignore him, then she does it. She likes to do things in her way and she is eager to learn and to understand her mistakes. She would help anyone who renders her the deserved respect.
