Burn blinked and smiled. "I would love to. Maybe I can be of some use." He swished his tail around to his front and grabbed hold of it. "It's getting dark too, isn't it? This can help."

Rionan jumped back,startled by the sudden flame. She commented,"Wow! That flames brighter than a single Aura Sphere!",creating one sphere to show Burn how bright it glowed. In comparison,the Aura's glow seemed dim next to Burn's tail.

Helio found a couple cactus berries,and started de-spineing them. He dug into one and muttered,"Mmmmm! This tastes great!" After he finished his meal,he started trekking alongside the river again.

Katrina looked around the shore and trotted to star-wing plains. "Faire!" she smiled greeting her friend
Faire smiled and hugged her."Whatcha been up to katrina?"

Burn closed his eyes halfway. "Its brighter at night, of course." His whisked his tail behind him again and made it burn brighter. He looked off to the outline of the oasis. "We should get going.. soon there will be bigger pokemon out like the drapion I met earlier."

"Lets go then" he said. "Should we sleep somewhere for the night or carry on walking?"

"Yea. Carry on, carry on, through the night on the desert, cause my little darling, you rather freeze than burn. My pop used to say that. Burn, I'm Thoran, an archeologist Ice Dragonair. Nice to meet ya", Thoran said, after sliding from the middle of some bushes where she had gone to pick a Sitrus Berry. "Anyway, the best would be to carry by night. We could make a shelter once it becomes day", Thoran suggested.

Burn nodded and sniffed the air. "The oasis is still quite far away, isn't it?" His tail twitched slightly and smoke came out of his nose.

Rionan said happily,"I agree with Thoran. It's much cooler at night,and most pokemon are sleeping in the desert. I've seen nocturnal pokemon in the forest,but not here yet." Her eyes eerily glowed as the sun set over the horizon. It was natural for her eyes to glow,but unusual for a Riolu.

Helio trotted down the river,keeping pace. He wasn't stopping his trek until morning. Then,he'd hide in a cactus to sleep. Unlike most desert pokemon,he was very nocturnal and quite the night owl at that. But when day comes,he's always a light sleeper.
