Neon growls to himself. " No one brave enough for battle? Cowards. I would follow if you don't want your guts on the floor." He spoke loud and clear. He twirled around and ran out. He was full of anger and determination. nothing would stop him from getting his revenge. They were transpassing.That is what happens to transpassers. he slipped on a rock and tripped, regaining his balance, he galloped on.

Nagira hissed as Calamity left.

Unlike the others, Emberfrost had been hiding in the trees and Neon had run before she could attack him properly. She hadn't been wounded and as she helped them along she strayed a few feet behind to watch the rear for any signs of Neon or any others that might have come back to finish them off.

I give one last growl, before leaving in the direction Neon had gone. Being too large to weave through the trees, I stretch my wings out and easily lift off the ground. I watch below, my keen ears helping to guide me to where the battle is raging.

Riley
I sigh as I slam the inn door shut behind me, my eyes blazing with anger. I'm way behind on my rent, and my landlady just keeps hammering me about it. I go to the stable and put a rope around the neck of Illusion, my horse, before jumping on her back and riding out to the woods.

Camilia sighed and brushed her finger gently against the bird on her shoulder. "I wonder who that could be.." She was speaking about the sound of a horse coming this way. Hiding behind her tree, she kept an eye out for the horse and possibly a rider.

Riley
I slow Illusion down from a gallop to a walk as we enter the forest. I slide off her back and start tie her to a tree branch. Sitting down on the ground with my back against the tree, I pull my legs up to my chest and stare straight ahead. I start thinking of the last time I saw my family, about a year or so ago, when they disowned me.

Micah shook his head. "Definitely not a dog. I don't know what that was.. but it could speak.." He moved his arm away from Ember and stepped away from her. He stumbled, but stood fine. "We need to warn the other about that thing. If they aren't prepared.. then we're doomed. Imagine what it would do if it wasn't stopped." He started to walk back to camp.

Calamity pulled the arrow out of Sleet in one smooth motion and wrapped bandages around the wound. "Sandrai, could you please look after him for me? Tell him our situation and get him anything if he needs it." She paused at her bedroom door and looked back at Sleet. Then she turned back to the hallway and stared at Sandrai. "I appreciate all you do. Maybe I can get the king to fix up the servant's rooms." She was walking down the hallway when she heard Neon.

Sleet watched her go and tried to follow her out the door.

Camilia peeked her head out from behind her tree and stared at Riley. She looked at the little bird on her shoulder and raised an eyebrow. "Who is it?" The little bird twittered and chirped, but said nothing about the girl. Camilia rolled her eyes and stepped forward. "Hellooo?"

I jump at the sound of another girl's voice, a bit startled. "Who are you?" I ask, standing up and looking at the girl. I see the little bird on her shoulder, and relax a little, realizing she's probably one of the dryads.

Camilia blinked at Riley' s jumping and the little bird twittered with laughter. Camilia pinched the little bird's beak shut and tilted her head. "My name is Camilia. I am one of the rebels. May I asked who you are and what side you are on?"
