"Hello." Came the rusty but firm voice among the trees. A pair of icy blue eyes, almost white, shone through the shadows and a tall and slender white haired elf jumped down from her perch among the branches. "It's me, Emberfrost." she smiled. "No need to be worried." she ran her long fingers through her silver hair and bent down to pick up her knives now covered in blood.

Micah struggled to sit up, after all, Neon had practically ruined his arms. Wincing as he did sit up, he saw Ember and his face turned red. He stood up quickly and grabbed his sword, dropping it again because of the pain in his arms. He stared at Emberfrost, the pretty elf walking up to him and Victor.

"Good god look at you two! You look like a thousand men released all their weapons on you at once!" she dashed over and caught Micah before he fell back down. "I don't know what that thing was but we should get back before it returns!" she shook her head in dismay and grabbed his sword, supporting him as she helped him up.

Micah's turned more red as Ember supported him. He reached for his sword weakly. "Some thing from the King's army. It caught me unawares, that's all." He cringed as his arms began to sting. "If it had come out and fought like a real soldier, it would be the one ruined." He narrowed his eyes and turned his head to see if it was hiding behind the somewhere.

I sigh as I slam the inn door shut behind me, my eyes blazing with anger. I'm way behind on my rent, and my landlady just keeps hammering me about it. I go to the stable and put a rope around the neck of Illusion, my horse, before jumping on her back and riding out to the woods.

Nagira found herself drifting out towards the edge of the forest from her position as sentry that night. She was positioned outside the castle but began moving out more and more ech time she heard the sound of battle. She had an acute sense of sound and could detect a hint of fighting out in the forest. It urged her on, making her want to run towards it.


Emberfrost faced Micah and slid the sword into his holster before putting her hand under his arm and pausing to look at it more closely, unaware of his beet red face. "It looks like a dog attacked you, but that was definitely not a dog.."
