Here's the gist of it:
Planet Earth has been overrun with alien lifeforms known as the Kyparisso, or Kypa for short. With most of the human race endangered or eliminated, a orbiting system above the Earth has been put into use and renovated. Battle School. It is here that the most intelligent teenagers and young adults train to drift with another person to fight in a giant robot known as a Diagler to battle the monstrosities rampaging their home planet. Drifting is the act of connecting ones brain to another, creating a connection and therefore both pilots becoming one with the Diagler. This enhances the ability to fight and how smoothy the moves are carried out. Each Diagler is given a name and pilots are tested for drift compatibility with one another in order to exterminate the beasts. The aliens are huge and adapt like humans do - making them evenly matched. Battle School was precisely made for these individuals who are training to become pilots and commanders and so forth to enhance and train. There are mock battles, team events, tournaments, but despite the excitement there is always an underlying sense of seriousness and doom. Doom if they don't exterminate, doom if they all die.

That's pretty much what I've come up with.
I basically want to have about 8 roleplayers, or 10 if need be. There must be an even number of people to make teams and drift partners. 4 boys, and 4 girls. Partners don't necessarily need to be boy and girl, it can be anything.
I will give each character a persona, a set of skills, their enemies, their friends, etc. You will create your own character according to the title I give them:
The Beast - open - boy
The Genius - me - girl
The Outcast - open - boy
The Deceiver - deja vu - girl
The Loyal - open - boy
The Introvert - open - girl
The Arrogant - cloudsong - boy
The Rebellious - asherwy - girl
I can always open up more personas if need be.
I'll give the personas the person they're most drift compatible with, their particular set of skills, and any other information needed.

What determines drift compatibility is each person's ability to share memories and support each other through unstable parts in the brain; for example if one person lacks logical decision making whereas the other is in an overabundance of logical thinking, then they would make a good match, but personality wise they would clash.
I can't decide whether I would like to make this roleplay on CS or Forgotten Toys - depends on what you guys prefer, if you are interested.

People might be confused as to why I am pausing some of my rps on AS due to medical reasons and continuing others.
I literally got sick with stress, a result of issues going on in my personal life as well as education, my job and the role plays and internet just added on another layer. They told me that I need to stay away from the internet if it causes me stress, and currently the only one that doesn't cause me stress is Temple and a few 1x1s.
Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone got confused as to why I'm saying I can't role play and yet am still roleplaying.

      pirates?
      COUNT ME IN.

also i've been cooking up a plot for a historical/fantasy thingamajig.

so basically prince remdas is the irresponsible crown prince of this kingdom. princess adelaide is the beautiful princess of the neighboring, powerful kingdom, that his father wants him to marry. because he refuses, his father sends a rather pretty young servant to persuade him to marry her. whaddya know, he falls in love with servant helen. although helen likes him as well, his father is determined to execute helen so remdas has no choice but to marry adelaide. in order to dissuade his father from killing helen, remdas insults and jeers at helen, who overhears and is heartbroken.

she runs off. enter sorceress ariadne, who convinces helen that she hates remdas and that she should curse him, which is what she does.

and then it's all drama/angst stuff
i like dragon capitalism a lot lmao

            okay pirate time
            first just really quick
keriae, ash., regals, thorissa, and qol all expressed interest
so six people is probably enough for a thing, unless anyone else on here says anything i'll probably keep it to just us
and whatever we decide plotwise, it'll probably take place on as
anyway, is there anything in particular any of you were thinking?
we could probably each have a couple characters if you want because i want a really no-nonsense tough pirate chick and then some guy idk i'd use just about any personality for him so
