Hey there guys, it's TheLolitaMero, aka Mello-chan here! I bought October's store pets because I was suddenly struck with a character idea I'm pretty sure I can't do justice, so I thought you guys might be able to help. Surely there's a couple of people interested in these pretty rats?~





Brief:


Art must be your own, and no free linearts. Sorry!

Species-wise, I'm looking for a:

• Young female dog
• Husky
• Other spitz breed (Finnish spitz?)
• Maybe have one floppy ear? :3
• I'm definitely not looking for a wolf. This character must be definedly canine.
  
  Colour scheme:
• Natural colouring
• Coatwise, one option is grey and white,
• Another option would be cream (this kind of greyish cream) and white with black ears (preferred)
• Or brown and white
• Natural husky markings
• Vibrant eyes (grey, pale blue or brown)
  
  Bonus things:
• Cute/kawaii girly accessories
• Sweet-themed accessories
• Practical but unique design
• Anything to do with games, specifically Legend of Zelda (Oot/MM-verse), The Last of Us, Minecraft and Pokémon. :3
• YOUTUBE IS MY LIFE. PewDiePie, Cryaotic/Chaotic Monki, Captain Sparklez, Team Crafted references are huge, HUGE bonuses
• Chocolate, both the colour and the sweet
• Anime references? (Ghibli films/SnK/Dangan Ronpa/Death Note/FMA/KnK/Ao no Exorcist)
• Natural colours, unnatural accessories.
• Black, white and silver plaid or checks is a weakness of mine.
• So are little waistcoats.

This was actually the hardest to judge, since all the designs were all of a similar standard. I decided to eventually award this to the design I thought I would likely use the most. I chose this design because I loved the natural colouring, bicolour theming and the white hair. I liked the Minecraft theming and think I could add accessories to the design easily without subtracting from the original. Its grumpy expression made me smile as well, so to you goes third place!

The accessories made this design really appealing! I loved how you really incorporated my interests into it, it made this design really cute. The accessories are original as well; the charms on one leg and legwarmer on the other is something I haven't seen before. The design itself is natural and looks good (I love the one floppy ear), but I got the feeling that the accessories are what really made this character; yet I love the coat colouring and it is a clearly defined canine, so I award you second place!

The way you made this entry so natural and yet managed to maintain originality in the design is really lovely; It's a realistic husky design which isn't like everyone else's husky characters. The colour scheme is gorgeous, the eyes incredibly striking and the accessory is really cute. Plus, floppy ears are adorable. The overall simplicity leaves it open for me to add items as I see fit, but the design speaks for itself and works even without accessories. I really, really loved this design, which is why I have awarded you first place!
