LILITH WINTERS
The quiet First Year
Lily peered out the window as the limo pulled up the long, winding drive. The building had a rather medieval Gothic quality that appealed to her inner wolf. Students and wolves milled about the front lawn together as if it were completely normal. Which she supposed it was. They were all Werewolves here. The older students had arrived several weeks earlier, her older sister included. Raven was a 7th year and Alpha of one of the three packs on campus. Glancing at her twin sister who was practically plastered to the window, Lily smiled. Unlike her, Melody was looking forward to school. For Lily, it was probably a death sentence unless she grew a backbone. The older students here, who were now watching the limo curiously, wouldn't hesitate to attack and kill a fellow student. Such was the life at Wolf's Blood Academy, school for the developing wolf. The limo pulled to a halt and dread slithered down her back. This was it... the next few years would tell whether she had what it took to be as Melody's Beta when they graduated... if they graduated. The door swung open and taking a deep breath, she accepted it and stepped out of the limo.
MELODY WINTERS
The impulsive First Year
Excitement seemed to course through Melody's veins like a potent drug. All her life, she had waited impatiently to attend Wolf's Blood Academy. As the only Werewolf Academy in America, it was difficult to get into and very expensive but her parents wanted only the best for the Winters' girls. Now they were finally here and Melody couldn't wait! The limo pulled to a stop and Lily's door opened. It took all of Melody's self control not to shove her sister out of the car. When it was her turn, she ignored the man's hand and sprang out, shifting midair into a reddish gold wolf. The man squeaked in surprise, clearly not expecting a First Year to shift so easily. Her sister giggled.
"Yeah she's been doing that for about a month now." Lily explained to the startled man. Melody paid them no mind. She padded around, nose to the ground as their bags were u unloaded. Her tail wagged a mile a minute and her ears were pricked excitedly. A black she-wolf broke away from a cluster of other wolves, ice blue eyes gleaming. She sprang at Melody and the two she-wolves went down in a tangle of legs and tails. Whdn they broke apart, they circled each other. Their tails wagged happily and then they shifted as one. With a laugh, Melody threw herself into her sister's arms and they embraced, oblivious to the curious stares around them.
"I can't believe you're here!" Raven gushed, eyes sparkling. Releasing her, Melody gave a little spin and beamed at her sister.
"I'm not a little pup anymore, Raven." She pointed out, flashing a grin.
"No you are not... come and I'll show you your rooms. There is a meeting in the auditorium you two must attend." Raven said, picking up one of the bags and grinning. Melody and Lily grabbed the rest of their stuff, then turned to follow.
RAVEN WINTERS
The cool and cunning Alpha
When Raven Winters woke up that morning, she could feel only excitement. Summer Break had been fabulous, spent with her family and their pack in the comforts of hone. She had missed her sisters terribly when she had left to attend school. First Years always started a few weeks after older students. This year it was worse though, knowing her sisters would be joining her this year. Now, the wait was over. She wokd up bright and early. It was a Saturday, the sun warm on her back and she was up way earlier than ususl. She uses the extra time to hunt for her own breakfast, patrol her packs borders, and catch up on homework. When the first group of First Years arrived she headed out of the building to the front lawn where she loungef in the sun with her packmates. Now that the twins were actually here, she became cautious. It wouldn't take a genius to figure out these were her sisters and she wouldn't put it past Connor Night and his brother Riley to attack them unprovoked.
LOKI WOLFE
The elusive Loner
Loki watched the happy reunion between the sisters with disgust. His cousins were disgusting in their loyalty. He was happy being a lone wolf. Catching Melody's eye, he curled his lips in warning then hopped to his paws and left the shade of the tree. He trailed behind them at a distance, keeping carefully out of sight. He might not like them but he reluctantly admitted they were family and he couldn't risk then getting hurt. With a flick of his tail, he slipped through the doggy door and entered the school building. Every door had them. He gound it to be rather demeaning but it was helpful. Loki shifted into a human on the other side. As a wold, he was massive and heavyset with jet black fur and emerald green eyes. As a human, he was leaner with black hair and green eyes. Handsome, yes. Approachable, not so much. Most kids classified as Loners aren't. They're too.. gruff and rude. Loki liked it that way.
