I fell to my knees. My body was burning. I crawled for a few feet but then fell over into a curled up ball. My body stretched and burned. Everything around me spun around and around like I was rolling down a hill. Then just as fast as all of this had started it all stopped. I pushed myself up, but I was closer to the ground. I looked down and whimpered. Paws...I had paws.... I rushed over to the lake and looked at the watery reflection. I had fur... pure white fur and gold eyes.... Oh...My...

Lay sighed. He couldn't get the very last step of the dance right. Normally, he was able to finish the dance off swiftly. Today was an exception. He decided to call it a day. It's not like he needed to rush home anyway. There was no one there to welcome him... Only the cold breeze, empty rooms, and the whistles of the wind. He stared at his reflection in the mirror, his empty eyes. He tried a smile. Only a slight curve with prominent dimples appeared. He packed his stuff in his bag quickly, grabbing his hoodie and pulling it on, then placing his bag on one shoulder. His converse squeaked as he walked to the door. He flipped the light switch, took one last glance at the empty room, and locked the door.

He didn't feel like taking the usual route home today. He didn't know why, but it felt like instinct not to today. As he passed by several houses, he suddenly stopped. His nose felt ticklish, he scrunched his nose. The smell familiar, yet he couldn't make out what it was. He followed his inner wolf, relying on his sense of smell. Soon enough, a large house stood in front of him. He stared at the house, blinking. He kept standing in that spot, unsure of what to do. The scent was strong, but now... The scent now came from two different directions. He puffed air from his nose. Wolves.

I kept starring at my reflection. I-I knew I was part wolf but I never though it would happen now! Something caught my attention. A scent of another wolf. Uh...Uh...Hide! Gotta hide! I raced over to the other side and hide behind a tree.

Lay looked around cautiously. He smelt a wolf that had shifted, and a wolf still in human form. It wasn't the first time he's met other wolves, they've all at some point asked Lay to join their pack, but Lay just didn't. He was used to the loneliness. He wondered, maybe it was a chance to start anew. He shifted into his ivory blond wolf form. He howled, hoping the wolves would take attention to him.

I turned. A wolf!...Wait it this a werewolf or a real one!? I was scared. I laid down and curled my tail around me. Make it all go away!

Jasper watched the other wolf curiously, she was a rogue obviously. He heard a howl from the edge of the forest before lifting his head to hotel on turn to signal his whereabouts and to state the all clear. He turned his attention back to the new wolf and shifted back to human behind a tree. "hi , I'm theo do you know how to shift back? " he said.
