Asher took a step back and gulped. The rumours were sitting in the back of his mind, clawing at his fear. He wanted to run again, run farther. But he decided he would stay. Just a little longer. He had to help in some way.

She crawled out of the bush shakily and turned wolf but kept her vocal cords the same "This is why." she said looking at the ground

Asher jumped back and fell over, a loud scream filling the air. He got up as quick as he could, and ran away. He didn't stop this time either. He wanted help. Tears were slipping out of his eyes, and he was nearly as pale as a ghost.
