Ashpaw glanced at Brokenpaw.

Lilypaw padded into camp, making sure not to salivate through her jaws while the thyme was clamped in them. She walked quickly to the medicine den, setting the herbs on a shelf near the entrance to the den.

Brokenpaw saw Ashpaw, and trotted over to her, "Hi, Ashpaw!" he meowed cheerfully.

Maskpaw watched his brother, his tail twitching with slight interest. He wasn't really interested in what Brokenpaw was doing, but he had nothing better to do. He saw Lilypaw enter her den, he'd always been a little jealous of her, but that was fading now, he'd grown out of wanting to be the clans next medicine cat. All through his kithood he'd wanted to be a medicine apprentice, but that didn't happen. And ever since his apprentice ceremony, he couldn't help feel jealous of Lilypaw. He pushed those thoughts away.

[Scarlett;]

Lilypaw looked out of the den at the clearing once the herbs had been set aside. Not many cats were in the clearing. They're probably all out on patrols, She realized. Famished, she crept over to the fresh-kill pile. As she walked over, she got the feeling that someone was watching her. She turned to see Maskpaw glancing at her. She looked back at him, concerned. He seemed... troubled.

Maskpaw blinked, looking away, he was sure that Lilypaw had just seen him looking at her. He closed his eyes instead, and tried to make himself look less concerned about anything. He opened his eyes again, and looked at Brokenpaw and Ashpaw again.

"Hello!" Ashpaw meowed, turning to face her fellow apprentice.

Brokenpaw smiled at her, "How are you?" he asked.

"Im good, what about you?" Ashpaw asked, glancing into his eyes and then looking away shyly.

"I'm fine," Brokenpaw meowed, he saw her look away. He frowned slightly, "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yea, im fine." Ashpaw meowed.
