And could I have some more feedback on this idea before I go ahead with it?

Hey you guys, I have an idea for the new thread, almost like an idea mill thing. Basically while I'm on the thread I will find role plays and whatnot that are being discussed and add it to a list called "Role Plays in Discussion". Let's say one of these rps was made and they were accepting members, I could make another list called "Role Plays in Need of Members" and people could check the front page and see what rps are in discussion and whatnot? How does that sound?

Adrian looked at his watch, avoiding the gleam of light off it's glass surface in fear his headache still lingered. Not enough time had passed, he decided, looking back up at the street and giving a conspicuous yawn. Listening to people was no fun at all. He could be partying, or drinking, or drowning his mind in the smoke of a cigarette right now. Anything else. Anything.
With the kind of reluctance only an impatient and selfish teenage boy could muster, he dragged his gaze back to the woman. What was she even saying any more? She paused for a moment, and Adrian's pulse gave a quick, nervous stutter. Did she ask him a question? Damn, damn, damn. Nod. Nodding is good. Nodding answers most things.
Adrian gave a slight nod, to which the woman smiled and continued on with her lecture. Jesus Christ, was there an escape route anywhere nearby? Adrian's eyes scanned the buildings around them, spotting nothing but a quaint coffee shop. If he went in there he'd be cornered, so that was really no use. With an exasperated slump of the shoulders, he turned back to the lady. May as well see if he could tune in enough to answer any more surprise questions.

The elevator rose up slowly, classical music filling Nathan's ears. He was still a little intoxicated, so it couldn't be told if the tune seemed loud because it was or because he was slowly starting to get a headache. Who even knew, it could have been a headache remnant from yesterday. Or the day before. Nathan was, in all honesty, in no shortage of migraines to choose from when it came to placing the blame.
A sharp 'bing' sliced through the almost silent air as they reached their floor, and the elevator doors crawled open far too slowly in response. Nathan spared a brief glance at Kylie before striding out the metal doors the moment the gap became wide enough to fit though, heading down the hall and towards his apartment. Nathan lived relatively close to the elevator, something he was far from ungrateful for on nights when he'd had too much and stayed up too late.
Nathan's cold fingertips fumbled at the pocket of the vomit-covered black leather jacket he'd carried inside with him, and picked out his keys so quickly he almost dropped the jacket again. They were pretty clean, and slid into the keyhole with ease. Gross.
The door opened slowly to a pitch black room with curtains drawn and lights off, should he come home with a killer headache. Nathan walked in and pulled out the keys, having memorised the place so fully over the years that he didn't need light. However, with courtesy for Kylie, he flicked on a light, bringing sudden blinding clarity to his apartment. It was painted an unstained white, with a small corridor at the entryway leading into the main room. Immediately a guest's eyes would be drawn to the crystal window, stretching across almost the entire main wall. Once their eyes were torn away from that, most people noticed the loveseat sat across from a thin, plasma TV surrounded by games and various gaming consoles which nestled itself in the centre of the far wall.
Nathan took no notice of any of this as he walked past the room to the kitchen adjacent, taking no hesitation before beginning to brew a new jug of coffee. There was no doubt it would be a long night.

--> neither of these were actually from a roleplay on chickensmoothie, considering i haven't been able to join a roleplay here for probably a year now. i hope that's okay?

Also, might I mention that the first post on this thread is definitely better than the one we used to have! There were like a hundred pictures that weren't really relevant, and just slowed down my computer... It was overly-coded, if you ask me XD
