What do you do if you fall in love with a design/character but you think it's over priced?
I have bought characters over 50$, If i am truly in love with a character, i will try to buy it whatever the cost. My boyfriend on the other hand things any character over 10$ is over priced lol.

so the over price conversation about Charchar2's art, its actually not that over priced. In my own personal opinion, its about avarage, if not lower than. though as much as i would adore a icon, due to pokemon coming out this week i am flat broke /sobsforever

So, say you gave someone a free design to someone, but they NEVER use it anymore. The most it got was one piece of art from last year and you want it back. How do you go about it?
sorta deal with it, unless you stated it needed to be used, not much you can actually do about it. you can ask someone for it back.

Hey guys, I made an adoptable account on deviantArt, so feel free to check it out. I currently only have three finished adoptables posted, but I'll be adding more later. Here's the link.

I'm just reposting this again since all adoptables on the account are still available. Let me know if the prices are too high; although I'm not sure about how much I can lower them since they did take me 1-7 hours depending on the adopt. I probably won't be able to post too many adoptables because of my current workload at school, but I'll try to update the account as much I have time for. I'm more experienced with creating human characters, but that takes me much longer so I most likely won't be posting too many of those.

What do you do if you fall in love with a design/character but you think it's over priced?
"Over-priced" is really a general term defined differently by each person, so it depends!
To me my limit would be anything higher than $50, but that's not to say that I think all adopts should be within my price range! For those that go for $800+, I'm glad that people are willing to offer that much for a gorgeous design, and it definitely belongs with whomever is willing to pay that much. So really I don't think any adopt is over-priced as long as there's a buyer willing to snatch it up. I agree with happy-stabby, though. Sometimes it's just enough to draw the design I adored and see it being loved by it's new owner c':

Honestly, I'd be fine with it since it was a gift to them in the first place. I never mind how my designs are used, as long as the owner initially loved it and doesn't sell it off ^//^ If it's an issue for you, don't be afraid to PM them and ask for it back. It might be polite to tell them that you feel it's being neglected first and ask if they're putting it to use through role-plays or something else!

Here is that one character I said I was working on.

So he is a ancient dragon that lives in the underground ruins of Babylon.
Many people travel to these ruins to seek advice from this wise dragon. Though he does not speak, he does not open his eyes, but he still finds a way to help these people. No one knows his real name, so they just call him by the city he resides in.
I also have a little head-canon that Martyr travels to see him, and Babylon opens his eyes and talks to Martyr.
