Well, honestly reading some of the stuff on here my idea of overpriced is way different than most people's. If its USD I definitely avoid it(mostly I avoid buying designs in USD at all because there are lots of other things that I could be spending that money on that are actually useful to me irl). With CS pets I juts go for it bc its not a big deal, and with points it kind of depends? Idk idk I don't deal with points very much in the first place.
Also like happy-stabby said if I see a character I really love sometimes I'll just draw them and that's enough for me. ;w;

More often then not, I have to give it a miss. ^ ^"
For one who just lost her job and I'm surviving on whatever I have every month as allowance.. I can't really spend much.
I only caved and spent some money on dA I think 3 times?
And out of the 3 times, I only spent 1000+ of points on a character only twice.
It's it's something I absolutely love but is for USD only, I have to skip it despite how much I want it. X'D
I am mostly inactive / have quit Chickensmoothie as a whole. ; w ;
It has been a fun many years, but I no longer have the interest to login here much.
You can find me on Flight Rising :
LinkBut I am not as active there either, but I login there more often compared to CS.

Most of my characters are human, but I'd really like to get a nice canine character because during all of these events such as Halloween, almost all line arts available are for canines. I do not want any anthro characters, but humans with canine forms/canines with human forms are great. I love creepy designs but don't want any gory ones since most of those can't be posted on CS. I also like certain flower based or robotic based designs and anything that has anything to do with ghosts would be simply amazing. I can offer dA points, CS pets (rare-Rares List), C$ or other characters. I can pay up to a Growing White July in CS pets if the design is high enough quality or has enough art (some other pets that I may be willing to offer would be a Gearback Tribal or Blue Sorbet). PM me if interested.
I'm also looking to order a custom male human character. I'll give anyone interested a lot more info about the design. This character has been in one of my stories for a long time, but still doesn't have a set appearance; so I feel it's time that he needs one.
I can offer the same type of payment as listed above.
What do you do if you fall in love with a design/character but you think it's over priced?If I've fallen in love with the design and actually have/can get the money, I'm still gonna buy it whether I feel that it's overpriced or not. There are some limits of course, I don't think I would spend over $50 on a character (the most I've spent so far is $40).

So, say you gave someone a free design to someone, but they NEVER use it anymore. The most it got was one piece of art from last year and you want it back. How do you go about it?
I'd offer them an early rare or two for it and see if they'd sell it back. Even if it was given for free originally I never ask for free things unless they specifically say they are giving something out for free. Plus they did get an art piece which is usually a rare or so anyways.

What do you do if you fall in love with a design/character but you think it's over priced?Simple; it really depends how much you want it. If I honestly fell in love with a design; I'd find a way to buy it.
The most I ever spent on a design was 100$;
Was it well spent?
I love the character a lot; as long as I use it and am allowed to re-sell it, I really don't mind.
I have wasted money before;
I bought a 50$ character I adored and when I asked if I could re-sell it, they said no. I'm angry at it because I never used her and no one wants her enough to trade;
Also
I have characters for sale here:http://sta.sh/2eek3igh05c-They are for rares list; points or cheap USD;

I think I'd die for one of these!! They're just so cute!! >,<
But you're art is way too expensive for me... =(
#brbcrying.. =P
thank you q v q
& sorry ;~;
for ebonpyre<3

And personally it isn't my business; but since I am an artist and a lot of people tell me they can't afford my art; I find this incredibly rude to state, cause honestly, if you actually wanted it, you'd find a way to afford it.
I know everyone would if a popular or your favorite artist opened commissions.
Just saying.
