Slowly Kazar exhaled, and took the gem in her mouth gently, putting it back into the hot pot. She watched the fire crackle and pop, like her anger inside of her. Kazar took the hot liquid sap with the prongs and poured it into the gem liquid cooler, just to cool it so she could handle it enough to put it in the water filled pot. Once the gem was in the cold pot, the doberman put the prongs in the pot too to cool them off while she cleaned up her shop. Now, moving onto the a few of the noble necklaces she needed to make. Kazar was already half done, except a three more gold chains needed to be fused together and taken over to the castle for the nobles, as a gift from her.

I lay on my side, staring out of my box at the land in front of me. It was peaceful, and quite, but yet, at the same time, it seemed unnerving and hostile. I lift my head up, rolling onto my stomach, I used my nose to push the flap that only covered half of the opening up. I managed to push the flap hard enough that it flipped over, and was no longer hanging down in front of my face. I yawned, stretching out my front legs and flexing my toes, while my back claws dug into the cardboard, creating little holes in the floor of the box. I stood up, stretching down onto my elbows while keeping my back legs up. I stretched once more, then straightened up. Finally exiting the box to began my duties.

Little Ann sniffed around, long drooped ears down to her shoulders. Seeing Kazar in her shop, the coon hound sat for a moment, and watched. Large innocent puppy eyes staring at the beautiful Doberman, interested. Sniffing hot "stuff" she kept watching, legs aching. Lowering her legs down, she collapsed silently, head on her black paw. "Those are pretty. I love them." She said aloud to the metalsmith. Tail thumping against the ground, she started licking her black paw. Some mud was stuck to the pads, which made it itch very bad. Slimy and long, her tongue licked up all the dirt. The coon hound really didn't mind eating dirt or mud. It didn't hurt, so why shouldn't she? Stopping to look at Kazar again, she marveled at how graceful the Doberman was at the gems and gold. Just yet so gentle... Little Ann was unfamiliar with it. She was used to treeing and attacking coons, fawns, and deer.

(Just to clear it up, hunters go in and just kill the stuff herders herd in a daily basis)

(They live in abandoned houses. Only poor citizens with no money would live in a cardboard box and such)
