"You want to work things out. You think we can talk this through." She repeated. "We've been doing that since we started dating. Look where that's gotten us. I can't stay here. I can't stand your sister anymore. You defend her more than you defend me. Sometimes you defend her against me. Now, you're accusing me of not knowing my son was being bullied at school. If you know people so well, you should have known I'd lost the baby." She sighed. "I can't date my enemy's brother. I'm done. I can't handle this anymore. You are just like Maria, never there when you say you will be. I can't be with a guy who chooses his sister over his girlfriend. We're done."

Myles listened to her. When she got done, he had tears streaming down his face. "Your breaking up with me?" He asked. "Okay. Find your own way home."

Chloe gritted her teeth as she called Izzie.

Myles drove home, and went straight to Maria.
