The "Is This a Fair Trade?" Thread

Hello again,

Sorry for posting more than one trade in a day, but I have a curiosity question. Was this a fair offer, or at least close to fair? I understand that the Tess dragon has good demand and that there is only a five month difference between them (which is still greater than three months, although granted not by much), but lions generally have excellent demand, so it didn't seem unreasonable for a first offer.

Thank you for the response! Could I just get some clarification on why? Not old enough, wrong species, etc.?

Are we talking grossly unfair, or just a little bit, which could be fixed easily with an additional pet? I'm sorry, I don't want to be a nuisance, but this seems to be breaking the general guidelines I've been following that a '10 rare is a pretty fair offer for a '11 VR, and I want to make sure I'm offering what the pet is worth.

The date gap is almost full 3 years and the items aren't worth too much... I wouldn't accept this trade. =)

The cat is from May 2009 and the dragon from November 2009. The perfect-trade lovers may want You to add a little to cover this little date gap, but I personally [and looks like person who sent the trade too] don't care that much if trading older pets, so yes, trade looks fair.
