Question. How do you know if the guy you like/ likes you is just playing you? Because last weekend, him and I hung out and cuddled and kissed and all this cute stuff, but today my friend said that she'd asked one of her friends why _____ hadn't asked me out yet, and her friend answered with, "Oh, he flirts with everybody. He doesn't ask people out."

So. Uhm.
What do I do?
I'd been wondering when he would ask me, but.. ugh.

Today during art I took my hair elastics and put them on my shoe (We were drawing our shoes realistically so we all had our shoes on our table) and my crush who was at my table took one of my elastics and put it on his shoe and was like, "Our shoes are married now!"

My parents think I like a kid in robotics. He cute and nice and all, but I can't see myself with him. What am I doing to make them think I like him?

Be patient. Sometimes people get caught up and forget to text. It's normal. If you're worried, ask him.

this is really more a rant than anything, but i'd love some feedback.

so there's this kid we'll call A. A is absolutely adorbs, and if i was any more girly, i'd say i was in love. we share so many interests, and he's super smart, which is huge for me because we actually have discussions, and he's attractive and funny and gawwwwwwwwwwh. but anyways.

friday was homecoming, and my first high school dance. let's just say there are some things you can't unsee, but must realize are natural. that's all. and dancing isn't dancing. so anyways, i didn't really have any friends i was there with, i was just meandering, when i saw him getting his "dance" on with a cheerleader. and another. and another. and you get the idea. i burst into tears and ran off, and a friend of mine saw me and ran after me (i hadn't realized she was there.) many snuffles later, i had K, Ka, H, and J all comforting me and trying to help me out, but it just wasn't working. at one point, i was dancing with a friend, (legit dancing, not 'dancing") and A came over. i flipped and ran off like an idiot. it was actually kinda funny. somewhat later, Ka went to talk to A, and he came over seeming sorry enough (we're friends as is) and said "do you want a hug?" i should have taken it. i regret it. but i replied with my not wanting his pity.

he tacked on "not a dancing hug, just a friend hug." i refused again (thank gawd for my acting classes) and just gave up. that night, i flipped out at him over texting because it was late and i have bad judgement skills. he replied with how sorry he was he only saw me has a friend, and complimented me on my honesty. i have a ton of classes with him, and we still text back and forth after that, but i'm just... every time i see him, i have the urge to slap him across the face, hug him like a boa constrictor, and run off crying. i just can't get over him.

there's a song, six degrees of separation. first, you think the worst is a broken heart. what's gonna kill you is the second part. and the third, is when your world splits down the middle. fourth, you're gonna think that you fixed yourself, fifth, you see them out with someone else, and the sixth is when you admit that you may have messed up a little. i hit four a couple weeks ago, and have always been at sixth. fifth is just... i have a lot of scars now that aren't figurative. i need help, and he isn't worth my blood or tears but i just can't help when i cry for an hour in the shower or feel like if i starve myself i'll be good enough and... i'm just falling apart. can i have a hug?

This is ridiculous. Having a boy/girlfriend before your 18 is daft flirting, to be perfectly frank with you.

Why is that?

Simply because you're obviously not going to marry your schoolday "crush", which makes it flirting, and flirting is BAD. Why get mixed up with trying to "get boys to like you" before you even know how it works, just because it makes you feel cool?

I think that is normal. I liked a guy for a while and I would like him then my feelings would lessen quite a bit and then I would like another guy. I would stop liking the new guy and then go back to liking the original guy after a month or less. My other friends experience the on/off liking all the time except they usually date who they like. But all in all, don't worry about it being weird, you're not the only person with that problem, thankfully! Hope this helps!!!
