ALICE TURMAN
human / nineteen / tagged : team black hawk
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
The smell of decaying bodies had become a normal smell to Alice. Her windshield of her helmet was down, so she could see out and her small, pixie-like face peeked out with a tuft of her brown hair right between her eyes. She could feel it tickle her, but she made no effort to move it from her facial area. As Alice walked, the crunch of gravel could be heard and felt beneath her Academy issued combat boots, and her dog tags at her neck clanked against the body armour of her suit. One of the dog tags read out her name, age, and species along with "Team Black Hawk" in bold letters printed under her information, and the others held achievements from the Academy, and her father's old dog tag from when he was a part of team Fox Trot from his time as a S.U.I agent.
Alice clutched her gun close to her stomach - the way she was taught to carry a gun when not using it - and had it pointing at the ground as she walked with her team. "Luka; are there any bodies nearby? Axelle; watch our flank." Alice considered the fact that her team mates - whom she considered to be her family - didn't like being told what to do too often. So she softened her voice, and added "Please." The young girl's radio she kept pinned to her shoulder began to produce white noise; a sound they only made when someone was trying to contact her. Alice looked at her team before excusing herself and wandered a bit away from the group before talking into her radio.
"Turman - Black Hawk. Do you copy?" The radio buzzed.
"I copy." She said into the radio while she held down a button on it to send her message to the other radio, and let go of the button when she finished her message. They then went through a series of codes and protocol numbers, before they finally gave her instructions to have her team stop looking for the dead, and get back to the nearest S.U.I. base. When they had finished their exchange on the radio, she cursed under her breath and reattached her radio to er shoulder and headed back over to her team. "Alright. Good job guys. I just received orders to return to the base and await our next assignment."

axelle moved quickly and quietly silent watching everything. her stone cold grey eyes took everything into effect. she never really cared about dead bodies except when she was a human. the only dead bodies that bothered her was her family's, there stone cold, horror twisted face nagged at her head. she shook her head quickly getting sidetracked again. focus, she coaxed herself refusing to let her guard down. when alice barked an order, axelle wanted to growl but as soon as she said please axelle didn't care. humans these days always felt like they ran the show, it was horribly misguided if you asked axelle considering the fact that she could kill ten humans within two minutes. regardless axelle did what she was told watching the flank.
axelle faded into the eerie silence, using it as a cloak to hide herself. the silence felt good, almost like a second home but sadly her restful state was interrupted by the loud white noise of the radio. "you'd think that with all the leaps in technology they could give better radios." she growled slightly. "heck, if were going to use a loud freaking radio why don't we just ring the dinner bell. ding, ding, ding." axelle said sarcastically, very quietly so only her group could hear. sure axelle got a little full of herself sometimes but that's how it was with all vampires. axelle had really stopped caring about being a graceful vampire as soon as their was different ways of getting blood other than alluring people to their death. she shivered slightly not wanting to remember the lives she'd taken, for her curse.
speaking of hunger, axelle was getting slightly hungry. until she got to base, she was screwed. hopefully none of her group members would get hurt to the point that a pool of blood might rush out. that might just drive axelle just a tad crazy. being a refined vampire she was stuck consuming fake blood that was chemically modified to suit the proper nutrients that a vampire needed so they wouldn't go on a killing spree. axelle was one of the select few that had a heavy tolerance when it came to excess blood being around her. she couldn't help but be used to it after being in all the wars that she was in. axelle shook her head once again, she was zoning.
focusing harder now, axelle began to grow annoyed at all the noises the group was making. did they not care that at any moment they could be attacked? sure, everyone just light a couple flares play a banjo, shoot some fireworks, heck just give the enemy a map of where the group was already? from the jangling of the dog tags, to the foolish steps straight into the gravel axelle thought she was going to burst. just breathe, just keep breathing. that was all axelle had to do. if she couldn't handle a minor mission without being thoroughly annoyed how was she going to survive a larger more important one? eh, there'd probably be some action, maybe some head clacking basically things to keep axelle interested.

luka walked with team black-hawk, occasionally sniffing around certain civilian hiding places. ''None here to report Boss.'' He replied, as spoke in a low tone, his tone full of annoyance. the werewolf growled, casting narrowed-eyed and threatening glances at people and objects. basically at anything that moved, even a muscle. he grinned when Alice said "please" right after it, amusing yes, but it wasn't like he was going to kill her for not saying it. he wouldn't do that, no, no, he'd never do that, never ever.
luka chuckled at axelle, finding her joke highly amusing, to him anyways. "good one axelle, why don't you try telling that to base next time. i'll make sure to be there when they fire you." he snickered, chuckling softly as he picked up his gun and turned to watch her. although it might not have been funny, his humor was gone for the day, but it was nice once in awhile. " i think it's better to stick with the classics. just upgrade what we need." he spoke, grinning.
" but then again you are right, communication between our team is a need." he added, giving her a curt nod.the blonde-haired boy picked his head up and looked at alice, narrowing his eyes and placing down his visor. before he grinned and jumped up and down with blunt sarcasm. oh goody! a new assignment." he said stopping abrupt and pressing the button on his radio. "next time, instead of sending us island-hopping, consider that some of us don't wanna walk." he snarled into the radio, growling softly.
he bared his fangs in annoyance before picking up his weapon and walked over to alice. "are you mad? i'm mad." he asked her, snatching an apple from one of the civilians and taking a bite out of it before crushing it and tossing the mush off into an area not too far from where he was standing. he licked his lips and swallowed the apple, before looking at feral. "you've been awfully quiet over there lunch, i mean feral. you ok?" he asked him the, raising an eyebrow. 'though he is kind of like lunch to me...' he thought, watching feral with a hungry intent.

feral picked up his head from a deep trail of thought, only hearing part of what Alice had said about the new orders. "good. lets keep it that way." he commented, keeping his tone low and icy. he chuckled at alice's joke, smiling at her now he nodded to her in slight approval. " i agree, but also i agree with wolf-boy over there." he teased, watching luka with a grin on his worn-out and tired looking face.
feral watched them all before he narrowed his eyes on luka, grinning in slight amusement. " oh how civilized of you wolf. i can't believe, after all that obedience training you got, that you took that apple from that child." he said, placing his gun muzzle-down on the ground, and placing his hands on his hips. he looked at them before replying to luka's question. " oh how sweet of you to call me lunch, wolfy. did they teach you better when you were a pup? or have you been this way since day one?" he sneered, picking up his gun and placing it by his stomach, keeping his trigger finger off the trigger.
" and to answer your latest question, i'm feeling just peachy." he added, stretching and walking towards luka, before swatting him. chuckling he ducked as his opponent tried to swat him back, before actually allowing him to do it. sighing, he looked to axelle and alice. " why don't we get going? were going to need to get back before dawn. and it's already night." he asked, as he started walking towards the north-woods daurah gates, placing his mask on and waiting to get scanned for diseases and other things before exiting.

ALICE TURMAN

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Alice frowned as the two boys bickered, and she felt like grabbing each of them by the collar and tell them to knock it off. The only reason she didn't, was because it wasn't professional and she'd have better luck getting a wall to move. Alice would only step in if they started to physically fight. When Luka stole the apple from a child, the girl's back stiffened and she set her jaw before giving Luka a glare that would've stopped a tank dead in its tracks. "Luka. We're soldiers, not bullies." She said in the softest voice she could manage.
It wasn't that Alice was afraid of fighting with Luka, it's just that she tried to be as kind to her team, while still holding a firm grip of control. The moment they started to fight with her, she'd do her best to beat them into submission. Alice clipped her gun into her hip holster before taking a few paces back the way they'd came. "And to answer your question, I'm not mad. Just annoyed that they made it very clear that they wanted us to come down here, and then call us back as soon as we get here."
The sun was going down over the horizon, and things became dark. With the flip of a switch her windshield was down on her helmet, and it gave her a better view of what was ahead. "Come on. I'd like to know why they're wasting my time." Even though Alice's words were coated with loathing, nothing about her posture or face said anything that she was furious to have such precious time wasted. One of the many features of her. Alice shoved her way past the gate and walked quietly down the road.
