Winter tumbled backwards as Fade pushed him off, landing on the ground with a silent thud and raising a cloud of dust around him. The pup jumped back up and shook his pelt free of dirt before he sat down and looked to Fade. "Do I feel anything?" His eyes glided downward to scan his body as he made all of his little muscles go stiff; trying to see if he truly did feel anything. With an agitated sigh, he looked back up at the she-wolf. "No. Darn." In his mind, Winter was trying to keep a mental checklist of everything they had tried, though he wanted to say it out loud so the wolves around him could help think of what to do next. "Let's see... We tried hunting, swimming, and now fighting... So it's not speed, agility, strength, or water. What's next?"

Flash approached the creek in the forest and inhaled sharply, taking in the scents here as well. Somewhere among the tree tops, a bird tweeted out a song that echoed off of the trees, making it seem quite peaceful when intermixed with the sound of rushing water in front of her. The femme lowered her snout into the water and began to lap some of it up, then rose her head back up when she was done, droplets running down her muzzle and dripping off of her chin. "Alright, water break's over. Back to hunting." She twitched her nose and scanned the area for deer or rabbits.

He has yet to discover his powers, but later on, you will see that he is a mind reader. No, he can't read your specific thoughts or see what you need, but he can see your secrets, feelings, and sometimes, see your past. This power can be tricky to master for many people can have a false mind; such as being lied to and not thinking or remembering the truth of how things really are. Say your were a water wolf, but someone told you were just a normal wolf. Well, then he would read you as a normal wolf, because that's what's in your mind. Emotions are a little hard to pick up on too, for some people can feel one thing, but mean another.

Winter wagged his tail and nodded, though his enthusiasm was starting to go down with all of the disappointments he had been having lately. What if... What if he didn't even have a power? The thought of this made his tail droop down and shock dawn in his eyes. He had never even considered that possibility. After a few seconds of worry, he shook his head clear and looked to Flame. "Yeah, let's try it."

"MOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!" She yelled as Flame crashed through the ferns to the rest of the pack.
