Whisperpaw thought. She knew she had to practice her moves but she wanted to explore more if the territory. She stared at the ground and played with an ant until she made her choice. Her curiosity got the best of her and decided she wanted to go hunting. She turned to look at russetfur and in a soft voice she said ," hunting, please".

Russetfur nodded, "Alright. Treat yourself to something from the fresh-kill pile before we head out." the tom mewed, "Meet me at the camp entrance when you're done. And if you'd like, another apprentice can come with us, as long as it's alright with their mentor." he added, with a small smile. With that, he headed off to a shady spot at the edge of camp for some peace before he took Whisperpaw out to hunt. He sat in the shade and began to groom himself with a content purr.

"ok, russetfur", whisperpaw told her mentor. She padded over to the fresh-kill pile, which look dangerously small due to the animals hibernating during the winter, and picked out a small mouse and a fish. Holding both of them by their tails, she walked over to her brother, Viperwings. She gave the fish to her brother and scarfed down her mouse. Whisperpaw thought about who to bring with her. She decided on Harepaw since she was her best friend here, and got up to look for her.

Harepaw slowly ambled out of the apprentice den, she didn't feel like her usual, cheerful self today. It was like she'd been dropped into a pool of sadness and was slowly sinking downwards.
As she walked into the camp center, she swept her gaze around, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The young she-cat's ears drooped and she padded over to the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a scrawny sparrow from the edge. Harepaw carried the limp sparrow over to a secluded edge of the camp and flopped down. The shade completely covered her, bringing a cool chill that ruffled her fur. She took a small nibble and slowly ate it, the flavour suddenly tasting bland.

Mintfrost jumped to her paws; fur fluffed up and her eyes wide. I've slept in! Hurriedly, the midnight-furred she-cat licked herself clean, removing any loose moss that had caught in her pelt. She then swiped her paw over her ears, perking them up and padded into the camp center.
The camp seemed to full of an abundance of cats and Mintfrost looked around, searching for anyone to talk to. She caught a glimpse of Stormstar, causing her fur to prickle with embarasment. Hopefully she looked presentable. Flicking her tail and strolling over to him, she purred loudly.
“Well... Hello, Stormstar.”

Beetlefoot had already risen from his nest and was pacing outside. He noticed that the fresh-kill pile looked down and mentally noted that he should go hunting later in the day. The prey was scarcer than usualy, since it was leafbare, but with hardly any cats going out hunting, it didn't look like as if it was going to increase anytime soon. I'd make an excellent deputy... He thought and glanced over at Stormstar, the thought of being deputy still stuck in his head.

Thistlepaw rose from his nest, yawning loudly, which was probably the loudest he would get. He shook himself, as he wasn't really self-conscious about the way he looked. His fur was absolutely fine, anyway.
He walked into the camp, his snowy fur fluffed up against the frozen air. Thistlepaw quietly purred to himself, keeping his gaze low. The only reason for his enjoyment was that leafbare was his most favoured season; his bright, white coat easily blended in with the glittering of snow that came with the cold.
“Bluewater.” The young apprentice came up to stand beside his mentor and finally raised his gaze an inch.

Mintfrost's eyes lit up, her whiskers quivering with excitement. She hadn't felt this cheerful since her warrior ceremony.
“Oh! I'm feeling rather good.” She replied and sat too, curling her tail around her paws. Then added; “And you?”
The black she-cat then started to wash her fur more thoroughly, than the rough job she did earlier. She kept on glancing back at Stormstar, hoping she didn't look like as if she was being rude.
