I looked at her unable to say anything to that but all I did was lean over and kiss her.

Carmen blinked, "What was that for?" She said, and smiled.

"Because I know where you came from..that's sort of the same life I had" I said softly looking back to the road

Carmen smirked, and traced the muscles of his arm with her index finger. "I actually grew up kind of sheltered, until I realized my entire family hated me." She shrugged, and touched the back of his hand lightly, not to mess up his driving. "I'll tell you the whole story later."

"Well I'm beat" I yawned and looked for a motel and pulled in. "Let's go get a room" I said tiredly

Carmen yawned, "Okay." She climbed out of the car and stretched her arms up over her head. "How long were we driving?" She yawned.

"About five hours" I said and got the key and walked to the room. Taking both of our suitcases.

Carmen followed him, and plopped down on the bed when the door was open. "I call the shower first." She said, looking over at the bathroom.

"Go ahead but you better make sure I don't sneak in" I smiled and chased her in stopping at the door and went and laid down

Carmen blew a kiss at Jacob before closing the door behind her. She looked in the mirror, and smiled. Then hopped into the shower. She sighed as he warm water bathed over her, and washed her hair with one of the tiny bottles of shampoo. After about an hour in the shower she stepped out and changed into her lace pajamas and walked out of the bathroom.
