Snow looked up. "What's a camp?" she asked.

"It's where I live- where our clan lives. Nightclan. There are dens with nests for everyone to sleep in, and a fresh - kill pile where we bring what we catch so that the clan can eat. And there are warriors, and a leader- Junestar, and apprentices, like me, and then there are kits. And we all live at the camp so that we're safe. I can't imagine not living at a camp!" She meowed.

Snow looked surprised. "Well, i live alone-except for my brother,Bell.But i cant find him.I guess you can call me a loner.It's all for your self-kill or be killed."

"Do you want to see the camp? Maybe they could help you find him!" She said, slightly bobbing up and down.

"Snow shook her head. "Last time that happened,my sister,June,dissapeared.But i Am Starving." She stood up.

Shadepaw watched her. "Why don't you hunt more sparrows?" she asked.

"I need a place to sleep and to eat without freezing my underside." she said,shivering.

"You could make a nest in the roots of that tree." She said, nodding in the direction of a tangle of roots that formed a den - like area. "All the cats in my clan make nests in dens."
