All was peaceful in the pokemon world, in the present that is. However, in the future, pokemon were suffering. The sun never shined and the moon never glowed. It was always cold, and dark. Very few plant life survived, and the pokemon barely made it by. Hours upon countless hours were spent shivering in the cold and trying to survive each "day".
Finally, a human and her partner pokemon came forth, and they told the pokemon they'd save the future. So they journeyed to the past, hoping to find the source of the disaster.

But terror struck when traveling through time, and the two were split apart. To make it worse, the human was changed into a pokemon, and lost all her memory except for her name and the fact she was once human. But, she meets a pokemon and together they form an exploration team.

Meanwhile, her old partner is scouring the world, searching for the legandary Sun Crystals, small, glowing crystals that are said to hold the power of the sun: they keep it bright, hot, and most importantly, they keep it rising and falling on its daily routine. But taking the sun crystals starts to make the sun and the moon fall out of balance in this time period, too, sometimes making the days longer, sometimes making them shorter. The sun started to loose its glow and its warmth, and tensions are rising. When pokemon find out who is causing it, they start to target her old partner, and won't stop until she is stopped.

Following the unbalancing of day and night, Reshiram, the gaurdian of the sun, is awoken, and she is angry that someone would try to stop the sun from rising, however, dispite all her rage, the problem with the sun is beginning to turn her dark.

What secrets, mysteries, and surprises await them? And will the heroine and her old partner ever succeed in their mission, no matter what the cost?

➙ This roleplay is going to be pretty semi-literate. So posts should be at least a paragraph (5+ well thought out, detailed sentences. Nothing like "She smiled at him. Then she sat down. She looked up. She yawned. Then she went inside." No. I will have a fit. Also, please use good capitalization, spelling, grammar, etc. And please make your posts somewhat nice to look out. No basic block of black text.

➙ You make your own forms. This will help me get a good idea of your literacy. Fancy it up, go all out! I love to see creativity!

➙ No powerplay/goddmodding, anything of the like. This means you control your own character, not anyone elses's. It also means, when fighting someone, you're not invincible, and your attacks can't hit every single time. Give your opponent a chance to fight back.

➙ Don't make the roleplay about you. Every character is important. Leave no one behind. If I feel like you're trying to make it about you, I'll warn you over PM.

➙ Please do tell me if you have a great plot twist! I love plot twists! They make the RP exciting! Shoot me a PM!

➙ No character limit. Make as many characters as you like, but don't make so many that you can't control all of them! Try to roleplay them all equally!

➙ If you want to be a mega-form pokemon, you can. In this roleplay, mega pokemon stay in that form once they choose to evolve. So knock yourself out. Note: it must be an official mega form.

➙ If someone asks for a recap, give them one! You'd want someone to do that same, wouldn't you? However, don't ask for a recap unless your last post was over five pages ago. If it was shorter than that, well, you know how to read. At least, I hope so.

➙ Try to be active. If you plan on being unable to access the roleplay for at least a week, please let me know over PM or something. If you're inactive for more than two weeks without prior notice your character will be removed from the roleplay. Probably killed somehow.

➙ Three strikes and you're out. The first time you break a rule, you'll be warned over PM. The second time, you'll be warned directly on this thread. The third time you'll be banned from the roleplay.

So she and her partner went back to the past to try and heal the future, but unfortunately, they were split up, and Vulpin is now, ironically to her name, a vulpix.

➟ Vulpin seldom talks much, and is quite mysterious and quiet. She's wary around newcomers, and trust doesn't come easy for her. And you probably won't be able to get her to talk much until she trusts you.

Fearless ;;
➟ Well, fearless for the most part. Some call it brave. Some it call it stupidity. They're both the same to her. The thought of exploring a new dungeon or going on a dangerous quest excites her. Even going into the 'past' was something she was all for, and she quickly dismissed her old partner's worries, frets, or concerns about the time travel. She'll hold her head high and dive into a dangerous situation/battle with a crazy grin stretched across her maw. Her old partner would tell her that she was going to die with this grin on her face, and she'd only answer by saying she wouldn't have it any other way.

Determined ;;
➟ Good luck trying to get her to admit defeat. It would be quite a feat if you were able to. If Vulpin puts her mind to something, no matter how crazy, she'll stop at nothing to try and succeed at it. Call her crazy. Call her a girl/pokemon with a death wish. It probably won't phase her.

Loyal ;;
➟ Once you manage to become friend to Vulpin, her faith to you is unending. She'd do just about anything for one that she trusts, and you could put your life in her paws and not have to worry a bit about making that decision. While she isn't good with the emotions of others, and she's very careful in conversations and with her word choice, Vulpin is quite a good friend to have. Just heed caution, once you break her trust, you probably won't get it back.

➟ At a glance, Lucius seems cruel, harsh, and cold, and that may be an accurate assumption if you aren't on good terms with him. It's when you actually get to know him that you'll think otherwise. Upon first meetings, he is harsh, and judgmental. He's all about good impressions, and if you don't leave one on him, he'll probably think lowly of you for as long as you two cross paths. Lucius has had a difficult past, and he refuses to talk about it to anyone. Lucius lived a cautious childhood as a riolu, always wary of anything he knew nothing about, careful of what he said, and seemed to over-think things before he did them. He always dreamed of living a peaceful life, but that was hard to imagine ever coming true, because his parents always argued, never able to agree. Even though he didn't really pay much attention, he couldn't help but thinking they fought because of him. He often heard his name mentioned in their squabbles. And then, one day, his mother just left. He was alone with his father. Lucius always whimpered to his father about how it was his fault, and his father would always try to assure him otherwise, but it was hard to convince him. Still, he continued with his careful, delicate ways. But even that couldn't save the only one he had left to love. He had been a regular lucario by now, his father a mega lucario, and the day they were attacked changed his life forever. He had tried for all he was worth to protect his father, but his actions were all in vain. He fled, shattered on the inside, never looking back, and vowing to forget his past and start a new life. He's since found that that's impossible to do, but he still doesn't give up. He moved to Treasure Town, and finds himself as a solo explorer.

ჯ “I knew this question was coming. If I had to put it into words I guess you could call me friendly, outgoing, and above all: a die hard friend. Besides sleeping I love to talk with everyone. Sometimes its hard for me to even shut up unless I'm told to, if not then good luck. I don't know why but I always feel like its my job to make everyone smile. So I go out of my way just to make sure everyone is happy. You could say that I put others before myself and you would be mostly right. At times though I can act a bit selfish and rude but I try not to let it be who I am. Laughter is the best medicine, or so I'm told. Which undoubtedly means that I love to tell jokes. Even if they aren't even funny, I just like to make people feel better. I guess it comes down to me not really liking when people are sad. My mind works is weird ways. I was always that one pup who was too weird to be popular, but too much fun to ignore. So you could say I had many friends, and by the way before you ask: Yes I am easily influenced. If someone dares me to do something I always do it, no matter what. I never like backing out of a challenge and when someone tells me I can't do something it makes me want to work harder. I would always get into trouble though for my outrageous antics. Most pokemon get along well with me I'd like to say. I mean how can you hate this face? In a more serious note I am rarely ever seen sitting still. I guess you can blame my sister for that, but I just can't sit still. On top of all that I also tend to get bored easy and once I'm bored with something I move on. With people its different because its impossible to get bored of someone. After all we are all unique and we each have our own flare. I hate to admit it but I have a fear of the dark. Its not funny... but I just can't stand not knowing whats around me. You know?"
